5 star all around. Service,rooms and food were outstanding. Ocean was not for human enjoyment. Mucky and Grassy. But it’s ok. Its habitat to important marine life and Ibagari offers a free water taxi that you can take to amazing ocean entrances 2 minutes away. Amazing food and tropical atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Really helped us unwind into our vacation! We highly recommend this secluded beach spot.

Super friendly place. Love the staff especially Henry, Helen and Shirley, This is the best location in West End, right on the beach and 5 minutes from some great restaurants and bars. We've stayed there multiple times over the past few years and will continue to go back. Oh...and The Landing (in-house restaurant) has great food!

The hosts were attentive and friendly. We will come back to this place for sure.

Property and beach were spectacular. One of our best vacations

What a great place to stay and a perfect place off the beaten path! All the staff were friendly and communication was top-notch with WhatsApp group messages every day full of recommendations, history and overall tips. They were also very responsive to all our questions. My wife and I stayed at West Bay Lodge in Roatan, Honduras from July 8-15, 2022. We were really happy with this resort. We had a wonderful bungalow with all the amenities and the grounds of the property were lush and beautiful. It was literally a 2-minute walk to one of the most spectacular beaches I’ve ever seen so the location is fantastic! The staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The food was excellent, the pool and bar staff were also really good. My only criticism was they seemed understaffed, as the service times seemed a bit too long and that was directly due to staffing (we waited 25 minutes just to have someone take or dinner order the last night we were there. Regardless, we will be coming back.

This is mature family-run property where they have figured out what works well in a tropical salt-air environment and what does not. So while it is not a glitzy new boutique resort, it also doesn't have the "Christmas afternoon" problems that result when spiffy new stuff meets salt-laden air.
