If you answered mostly A’s, your next Mexican destination should be focused on scenery. Your love for topography can be slaked by visiting Copper Canyon in the state of Chihuahua. The name of the canyon system comes from the copper-green colour of the walls of the hills. Overall, it’s larger than the Grand Canyon in the United States and offers something a little different than the usual tourist beach spots of Mexico.

If you answered mostly B’s, your next Mexican destination should be all about beaches. And you’re in luck, because Mexico has some real beauties. For you, nothing says vacation better than stretching out on the sand, soaking up the sun and playing in the ocean. The Mayan Riviera is often ranked as the number one beach region in Mexico, however Mazatlan and Puerto Escondido are also amazing choices.

If you answered mostly C’s, your next Mexican destination should offer something educational. You have a great mind and you love to learn, so the history of Mexico will be sure to keep you interested. The rich Mayan history of Mexico is best experienced in the state of Yucatan. Here you will find the best sites for Mayan ruins and colonial cities.

If you answered mostly D’s, your next Mexican destination needs to be busy with a vibrant night-life and other activity. Cutting loose in Mexico may be just what the doctor ordered and the best resorts for being the life of the party are Playa del Carmen and Puerto Vallarta. During the day, if you can’t sit still, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo has excellent fishing and scuba-diving spots to keep you moving and exploring.

If you answered mostly E’s, your next Mexican destination is about experiencing culture: the people, the art and the food. If you really want to immerse yourself in authentic Mexican life, Oaxaca is one of the best places to do so. It’s considered a “foodie” destination and is also the most ethnically-diverse region in Mexico. Book a tour to experience the city and make sure to visit the many museums, cathedrals and important ruins.

Because Mexico is so popular for tourists, the country caters to visitors, and as such, makes it nearly impossible to choose where to go. Although perhaps not based on the most scientific methods, this type of quiz can help you make important travel decisions in the future.
You’re welcome.
