Tavira Island Yoga Vacations

We booked a standard apartment on arrival we were so disappointed. The room was basic but ok but the toilet was disgusting mould on tiles all the grout was dirty. The sealant around bath was disgusting We reported this the next morning Saturday by phone and email. They advised us there would be no alternative accommodation until Monday but at a cost 300 Euro for 4 nights to move. we payed this as the bathroom was disgusting we will follow this up with a formal complaint to the resort

Beautiful hotel and fantastic surroundings close to the beach and marina (with many restaurants, shops, bars, gelaterias). Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are spacious with lovely linen and towels.

Amazing stay. Beautiful grounds, incredible food and lovely staff.

A fantastic, beautiful and almost idyllic resort just outside of Lagos. The resort is very peaceful, and if you are a golfer, has meticulously maintained courses - I wish I had a chance to play a round! Incredible views from our balcony, the restaurant, and the pool of the beach coastline, and of Lagos and Ponte de Piedade in the distance. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and, eager to please. So glad we chose this resort as it is not directly in Lagos and world away from the bustle and commotion that makes Lagos incredibly fun, but tiring. Highly recommend the Palmares Beach House Hotel!

Amazing hotel. The best in Alvor at a completely different level. Superb pool area no rushing for sunbeds and pools x 3 are amazing. Right on the beach front this place is and the most chilled experience for a holiday. Will definitely return.

Really well maintained and clean - I would give a 4.5* rating. We really liked it but there were a couple of negatives which prevented giving a 5*. Really quiet and peaceful on evenings and rooms very well sound proofed from the noise and the rooms were huge!! The kitchen and bathrooms were lovely. No complaints at all on the rooms. The pool area was lovely and could usually get a bed if needed, but will never be too far from your room. Only a ten minute walk down the hill to a brilliant beach. About a 3 minute drive to a big intermarche supermarket which has freshly baked bread and pastries and all the food and drink you could need for your stay. Easy driving distance of lots of beaches and attractions so a fantastic base. Dishwasher and washing machine in rooms. We would stay again. The main negative is around the indoor pool. Whilst there are signs saying the indoor pool is for relaxation and the jacuzzi is not for under 12s, many younger children run around and jump in it. If pointed out we were made uncomfortable to want to go in the jacuzzi area whilst children would sit in for excessive amounts of time. If during the day the reception staff member tried to discourage this, but once evening came it became a central area for kids jumping in and out with little to no adult supervision. Only other negative was around the furniture on the balconies. The balconies (plural) were huge but unfortunately quite a bit of bird poo so very difficult to actually sit on the chairs.
