Villa Metacasa is ideal for families who wish to spend a holiday together in a peaceful spacious setting with privacy. The villa is situated on a plot of about 42,000 m2 with spectacular views over the countryside, especially at sunset. The terraces around the house offer extensive outdoor space both shaded or in the sun, as well as with a cosy sheltered patio. Relaxing and sunbathing is also possible on the sunbeds at the poolside! The holiday villa is spacious and furnished in Mediterranean style. It has a large living room with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a pantry. From both the living room and the bedrooms there is access to the partially covered terrace, the patio and swimming pool next to the house. The air conditioning in the bedrooms ensures a pleasant temperature in summer! The large half covered panorama terrace at the front is connected to the terrace at the side and back. Depending on the time of day, the front or side terrace is the most pleasant. The whole terrace can be closed off by fences so that small children cannot get off it just like that. Through the side terrace is a staircase with a fence, the pool to reach. At the pool there is an outdoor shower and there are sun beds in the semi-shade of a translucent roof. There is also a small outdoor kitchenette. The pool can be closed off with gates. The size of the villa is suitable for 2 families with children. \* Prices shown are based on 6 people. A fee of € 26 per night per person will additionally be charged. \* Please note that this villa does not accept groups of young people under 30 years. Surroundings villa The nearest village, a 10-minute drive away, is Santa Catarina de Fonte do Bispo, a rural village, where you can find a bakery and a small supermarket. In a 20 minute drive you can reach Tavira. Tavira is perhaps the most beautiful town in the Algarve. Located on the banks of the Rio Gilão, which flows through the centre, Tavira radiates a friendly, almost resigned atmosphere. It is lovely to stroll through the centre, with its old Moorish quarter, squares and parks, terraces, cafés and many restaurants. The quickest way to the beach is in Pedras d'el Rei near Santa Luzia (also a 20-minute drive). A small train takes you in 5 minutes (or 10 minutes on foot) through the lagoon and the dunes to the kilometres of golden sand. To the kilometre-long golden sand beach. The entire beach, except for one restaurant, is undeveloped. Een heel mooi huis. Rustige omgeving rondom het huis. Je hoort alleen maar de vogels. Verder werkte bijna alles ook goed in huis, er is een vrij nieuwe keuken, mooi terras, fijn zwembad, heel ruim in huis etc. Het uitzicht is fantastisch! We waren hier met 8 personen (2 gezinnen). 1 wc werkte minder goed. We genoten met volle teugen van het fantastische uitzicht op de ons omringende heuvels. De maand augustus bracht vele leuke, lokale feesten hier in St. Catarina en de omliggende dorpen. We mochten ook de fantastische zandstranden rond Tavira ontdekken en onze dochter was heel gelukkig met de bootjes die ons er heen brachten. En dit allemaal door de mooie accommodatie, het zalige zwembad, de praktische keuken… Kortom tot later. Fantastische vakantie gehad. De villa heeft een prachtige ligging, het uitzicht is geweldig en de rust is heerlijk. De weg er naar toe is prima te doen, stukje onverharde weg maar makkelijk aan te rijden. Tavira en alle stranden goed aan te rijden en de service van de verhuurders en de plaatselijke hulp is super. Het uitzicht is geweldig. Het zwembad is intensief gebruikt. Emma is een vriendelijke, opgeruimde, behulpzame contactpersoon. Het enige wat voor ons vier 80 en 90 plussers in het begin wennen was is de bijna 2 km lange onverharde route. Maar het wende wel weer snel. Fijn dat we dit huis mochten huren. Zwembad is ruim met schoon en helder water. Omgeving is mooi en mensen zijn ook vriendelijk. Het huis is van alles voorzien, je hoeft alleen je badpak en kleding mee te nemen! Emma de beheerder van dit huis is ook heel aardig , sociaal en service gericht. Verder hebben wij ontzettend genoten van de omgeving het eten in de buurt en gezellige dorpje Tavira met elke avond wel wat te beleven oa kermis aan het strand. Kortom wij bevelen deze accommodatie zeer zeker aan! Een serieus mooie omgeving en het huis met faciliteiten is werkelijk prachtig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad perfect. In de omgeving is ook veel eet- en drinkgelegenheid te vinden. Niets gemist in deze vakantie. Vluchten zeer goed te doen met Transavia vanaf Rotterdam.
