We stayed during the recent heatwave, and unfortunately the bedrooms did not have air conditioning, which made our stay quite uncomfortable. We were initially provided with a Dyson fan, but it wasn’t working properly. After reporting this, it was replaced with two small desk fans, which we appreciated, but they still weren’t enough to keep the room cool. Breakfast was okay overall, but I was disappointed by the lack of inclusive options. If you don’t eat pork, there were no alternative meat choices available, which felt quite limiting. I had very high expectations for The Belfry, especially given its reputation and the cost of staying there. Sadly, the experience didn’t live up to those expectations. For the price of a one-night stay, I believe there is significant room for improvement when it comes to guest comfort and the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won’t be returning.

I am a repeat guest of this hotel, but I would not recommend staying here if the weather is hot. The room is like a sauna. They have no air conditioning. No complimentary water in the room.

Everything was fine. Spacious and well equipped, except that the bathroom tiled floor was grubby and needed a clean . Otherwise an excellent stay and would return.

Beautiful room with extremely comfortable bed. Great location near a park with nice views and could not be more centrally location for walkabouts of the city, which is very attractive.

Amazing breakfast, perfect place for a sleepover after a long flight

Quick check-in, helpful and friendly staff, clean and modern rooms (bed v comfortable, HDTV). Breakfast and coffee exceeded expectations too. Better than the places on Broad Street!
