The hotel itself was exactly like staying at an art gallery, very picturesque. Don’t get me started on the Restaurant, food and drinks were always first class. Breakfast every morning was a delight, with signature options from various cities in Columbia and American and European option as well. Every amenity outside of this hotel was within walking distance, so nothing ever seemed out of reach. I would recommend this hotel 10 times over for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Cartagena. With only 15 rooms, it feels like staying in a private home, and the pool is gorgeous. The staff and service were amazing—truly one of the highlights of our stay. A few things to note: the wellness-style menu is healthy but doesn’t offer many snack options. Street performers outside (especially drummers) can be very loud at night, though they’re usually gone by 11 PM. At checkout, they asked for a 10% tip on the entire stay, which felt a little uncomfortable—we only tipped on food and beverage. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. We would definitely stay again for the location, the charm, and the incredible staff. (1,001 reviews) Nous avons séjourné deux nuits au Sofitel Legend et avons été agréablement surpris par la qualité de l’établissement. Jusqu’à ce séjour, nous n’avions jamais été pleinement satisfaits dans les hôtels Sofitel. Nous occupions une suite junior dans l’aile coloniale (historique). Compte tenu des contraintes inhérentes à la rénovation d’un bâtiment ancien, la chambre était très satisfaisante : la climatisation était parfaitement efficace pour contrer la chaleur extérieure, le matelas (grâce à son surmatelas) offrait un excellent confort, la suite avait une bonne dimension et l’emplacement de l’établissement est parfait pour visiter la ville. À noter toutefois : les chambres donnant sur l’entrée peuvent être bruyantes en soirée, en raison du petit parc situé en face de l’hôtel (la musique s’arrête vers 23 h). Les chaises longues autour de la piscine sont prises rapidement, mais le personnel aide activement les clients à trouver une place, de manière proactive. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est délicieux et particulièrement copieux. Enfin, le service d’Edouardo T., au restaurant, a été irréprochable : avenant, discret et attentif.
