Bathrooms need to be upgraded , better sheets

Underwhelming experience. Staff in general were unpleasant, unfriendly and looked bothered to serve you especially during breakfast!

Our stay here definitely let us down. This place was very expensive, and did not seem worth the value. While the staff was very friendly, kind, and polite, the hotel itself and the amenities were not great. I would not recommend this place or come back for several reasons: 1. The wifi did not consistently work in our room. There were dead spots, we were constantly disconnected, the TV did not work, and it was very slow. 2. There were clumps of hair in our shower when we checked in. 3. There was a bug in my partners soup during dinner, and they gave me a honey packet that was infested with several fruit flies in it. When I saw the bugs and put the honey packet to the side, I saw that the staff had put the bug infested honey packet back into the breakfast buffet the next day. I saw that honey packet and took it out again to ensure another guess did not get it. 4. The food was nothing special. It was not horrible, but it was nothing I would rave about. 5. If you come during off season, they will not open up all four restaurants they advertise. You are forced to eat at one restaurant your entire stay if you opt in for the dining package. If I had known this, I wouldn’t have bought it, but they do not tell you this when you book online. In addition, they charged me for two bottles of water each night during dinner. While I understand you have to buy water in Brazil, I was shocked that not even 1 bottle of water was included in the dining package.

Although we didn’t have any children there, it looked like a very family friendly place where I would love to take my grandchildren one day

Staff was awesome about trying to help me fix the A/C just very busy it took 3 requests. Also I booked thru Expedia which was misleading. It said hotel had umbrellas and chairs and towels available for the beach. It’s why I booked there but it only had towels. The hotel across the street the Regency had chairs and umbrellas. The buffet breakfast was very mid. No fresh orange juice and coffee was not great. Also I got there 30 minutes before closing and many things were messy and/ or empty when breakfast was supposed to last until 10. I recommend getting there really early as it’s packed and food gets picked over quick, nice bread selection was available. The lobby is spacious and comfortable to sit and wait for your group activities. One negative is The twin beds in our room were hard as a rock. I can say that extra firm is not always better. Shower was great for water pressure and after maintenance fixed our A/C our room was super chill. I’d come back again.
