Andes Honeymoon Vacations

Our initial room assignment was not to our liking, and Vanessa at the desk was very helpful in relocating us to a room with a fabulous view of the city. Everything after the relocation was to our liking, except having to get up at 4:30am to catch our ride to the airport on the day of our departure. Both JoAn and I enjoyed the upscale accommodations after spending 8 days on the Galapagos Islands.

Perfectly located right in the heart of Quito on Independence Plaza, yet very private and quiet. In a classic older building, so beautifully finished and wonderfully furnished. Rooms are luxurious, spacious and very comfortable. I stayed twice, and each room was fantastic. Just steps away are great restaurants, the grand cathedrals, shopping, and the vibrant street scene Quito is famous for. But above and beyond the facility, is the amazing staff! No one could be more gracious, friendly, helpful and kinder than these wonderful folks! Simply, they are Ecuadorians, the best people you will meet anywhere. What an enjoyable and memorable stay I had! Lawrence

Everything was great. The location was perfect, there are a few good restaurants in the hotel and many just outside, plus shopping and the park. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and the gym was well equipped. There are also free fitness classes and a pool. We had a comfortable stay, would definitely return!

I chose this hotel simply because many good reviews it got . As the other reviews mentioned, Lobby, room are clean and very spacious, also great view of the city. well maintained. The staffs are courteous and polite, and very helpful. The breakfast are basic but helpful. My room had a hot tub as well as a separate shower space. Now about location. La mariscal(on the map is Mariscal Sucre) is in between Historical Center and the business district, La carolia. There is a subway station 10 minutes walk away. During day time on the a Avenida Amazonas that the hotel situated, a lots of traffics both homans and cars, there are many shops ,restaurants around . But it gets pretty empty after dark. It might be a concern for a safety for some but it did not bothered me at all. For dinning in the night, famous night time district is not far away . I do not know how that district called? Maybe Plaza Foch. Overall it is in covinient location for both travellers and business uses . So with the price I paid and the services I got. I will recommend this place for anyone.
