Clean room, but wonder how warm it will be in Winter as only single glazing. Staff very good. Breakfast was good, but standard coffee served was only just passable. I think you could pay extra and get a ‘proper’ coffee though!

Outside area was filthy. Garden full of weeds The wooden table was missing pieces. The gas barbecue was not there as advertised. Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. My family were very disappointed. They have an electric car charger which is very expensive also.

This hotel is very comfortable, and in a great location for the Quay area, its about 5 minutes walk to the restaurants and bars. The Cathedral is about 2 minutes in the opposite direction. The hotel is an older building with interesting history, but its very well appointed, clean and the staff are friendly and approachable. A query that I had was soon resolved. There is secure parking under the hotel, which is a great advantage in the centre of a city. It also has a Miller and Carter restaurant.

Dirty room. Cigarette burn in curtains/ nets. Leaking air con. Extractor fan turned on however never extracted so bathroom totally wet through after showering. Bed very uncomfortable. Pillows very uncomfortable. Requested a quiet room - the hotel wasn’t busy and we were located next to a busy/ noisy dual carriage way.
