I know this is a budget hotel, but some things are hard to ignore. When I arrived, there was no hot water in my bathroom. The guy on the desk seemed dubious and kept saying I had to “let it run”. I did, for over three minutes. Eventually I convinced him to come and look. Once that was sorted, it was never really hot. I had to ask several times for an extra pillow. (There was one) The room itself was down the end of corridor, down some steps. It wasn’t a pleasant place. The shower head in the bathroom was clearly broken, spraying water without direction. The hotel itself was in a convenient location, close to shops and restaurants. It was only a few hundred metres from the lake shore. The view from my room was over other rooftops. I won’t be coming back.
