The Mandarin Savoy Hotel is exceptional. Perfectly located on the Bahnhofstrasse, opposite the famous Paradeplatz. The interior is well designed and the rooms are elegant and luxurious. I have stayed in many of the five-star hotels in Zurich over the years. This undoubtedly is the best.

Absolutely fabulous hotel and perfect location to enjoy the wonderful scenery - mountain hikes and swimming and activities on the lake. Duty manager so welcoming, helpful and friendly, advising us on walks on our arrival. Friendly restaurant staff and a great buffet breakfast to start the day with a much appreciated vegan selection. Lovely bakery on-site and covered walkway to the cable car opposite the hotel. Lovely spa area to relax after hiking, or to watch the rain from. Comfortable bed, fresh spring water, large balconies. No apparent air con, but nice just to have the window tilted open. Well served by buses

Staff was extremely rude in check-in. There are no signs in English regarding parking, so the staff yelled at me. Told me that someone will be out to come help me find parking. No one ever came. I was also told at check-in that facilities and amenities are only available if you book a spa session. So the pool and garden are not included in the room rate. What an absolute joke

Quel bijou dans les Alpes suisses! Le spa très moderne est un grand atout après une journée de marche en montagne. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Notre chambre exécutive fut rénovée au goût du jour avec le cachet suisse patrimonial. L’ascenseur gagnerait à être rénové ou agrandi car minuscule. Somme toute, c’est sans aucun doute le meilleur hôtel de la région!
