(420 reviews) Wonderful and Relaxing Stay at Bacolod Beach! I had such a nice and relaxing stay at Bacolod Beach. I really enjoyed all the amenities, and the staff were welcoming, attentive, and friendly. The restaurant was great, and everything about the place just felt comfortable and peaceful. One of my favorite parts of the stay was waking up in the morning to the sound of birds, and falling asleep to the waves from the ocean. Sitting on the balcony, listening to the water, was incredibly calming. Overall, it was a beautiful experience, and I truly enjoyed everything. I would definitely come back again! (499 reviews) The property is magnificent. Has its own beautiful beach. But clearly they are short on staff and on supplies - during breakfast I had to get off my chair to find someone to get me some coffee- since it was not self served. Our first night we ask for another blanket and they had none but send me a flat sheet Our beach towels were very damp because they did not have dry ones available. The worst part is that the running water in the room was medium brown in color. I could not use the water to make some tea or brush my teeth. I went to the front desk and ask for water- they gave me 2 little bottles and said I would have to pay if I want more. Maintenance came by and said it was not an easy fix. Same time a couple in a room about four rooms down from mines heard the conversation and stated that they were about to go to front desk to report the same issue. This hotel has always been the one that I stayed at on every visit to Tobago. Service has always been excellent. Clearly something has changed and I am hoping whatever shortcomings they’re experiencing is going to be short lived. I’m not writing off this hotel- I will be going back again.
