This is an average property in a very good location. The hotel is a bit dated but does provide some modern touches. The breakfast is very repetitive and of average quality.

Loved the entire experience. I know it's social acceptable for japanese and taiwanese but the smoking room in the lobby stinks up the entire lobby. Fix it or close it. Everything else was great.

Great location and breakfast.

Regent is at a very good location in Taipei and it's very walkable. The property is well maintained and part of a complex with the Regent Galleria. You definitely can tell this is an upscale property. There's a Louis Vuitton right in the lobby, but the hotel is not pretentious so even casual travelers will feel welcome. The rooms are very large as are the bathrooms. It actually felt a bit silly taking 4 large steps from the door to the sink. Daily cleaning was very good. On site dining options were extensive but my only experience was the breakfast buffet. Selection is great, including local, western, Korean, Japanese options. I would recommend this for travelers searching for a more upscale experience and business travelers.

Good location, reasonable price with friendly and efficient staff

Looked for a central place next to a train station and this was wonderful.

Location is good, fast internet, very good room condition, friendly staff.

I stayed here for a week and found the room very comfortable, and the service was great. The bed was very firm, which I like, but fair warning to those who don't. The location is very convenient to the Metro and downtown. I'd definitely return.
