The hotel is newly renovated. Foods and cocktails at the bar are good. Our room is very clean. The staff at the check out was not so nice. And no receipt was provided after couple months of check out.

the place was very nice and well kept staff was good breakfast and resteraunt on site were great the atmosphere seems alot laid back vs other resorts not to over crowded beach on site is ok kinda small and limited big thing for myself is they're was no hot tub on site not sure if I would come back or not

Everything I could ask for in a hotel/resort for a Hawaiian vacation was fantastic. Great/easy valet service, all staff friendly and very helpful for any question. Variety of stores, and a Starbucks in the lobby!! Breakfast buffet and lounge area was sublime way to start the day, and the night time appetizers/drink was very filling. All of Waikiki within a few minutes walk which was very convenient. ONLY thing I could request is room service should go later than 9pm.

My husband was unexpectedly unable to join me on the trip. But my cousin came along instead. When I explained what happened, they helpfully changed my king room to a double queen. This is my second trip to the Fairmont Orchid. The beach and pool are lovely. The food is fabulous. The grounds are immaculate. The outdoor spa can't be beat with the sound of the running water. I had picked the Orchid originally because I wanted a place my husband would enjoy while I was off scuba diving. With my cousin with me (who also dives), I sometimes wished we were closer to the harbor. But, the Orchid really can't be beat for a beautiful spot to enjoy (and it is close to some of the lovely state beaches to the north -- not that you need to go to them given the lovely cove with drinks service!!) Oh! And if you happen to be there on a "talk story" weekend at the nearby Eva Parker Woods Cottage, you should go!

This place is gorgeous! I am a native to Oahu and wanted to staycation for my anniversary. Didn't want to do the Waikiki stay, and I've always seen this resort but they never have availability! Just so happen, the dates worked and I was in awe from the moment I got here. Everything is so open and connected to nature. The room was perfect, with a full kitchen and dishes / cookware are all included! Resort fee includes free rentals of snorkeling equipment, kayaks (single & double), paddle boards, and on Saturday from 10am-2pm they offer a ride out to the sandbar on their boat! The pool and jacuzzi were amazing! The banana bread and coffee in the main area were really yummy. Ice machine right outside our room, next to our car that we parked literally feet from the front door to our room. Gorgeous nature scenery in every direction! Unit 61 is a corner unit on the top floor overlooking the pool and the canal that leads to the ocean. Kayaking out to the little island was cute but water was a bit choppy today. The little waterfalls that they have stationed all.over the property make everything sound so serene. We will.definitely be back for future staycations!
