1st check in clerk told me I had to pay $40 to check in my carry on bag. We had some alcohol in the bag and couldn’t take with us on the plane. I had to rearrange my items into my mother’s bag in order not to pay for multiple bags. When I went back to check in my bag I saw a different clerk who said that we DONT pay for checking in carry bags as long as they were up to 12 kg. We had just spent 30 minutes re arranging all of our bags! It upset my mom and aunt so much. We were in the middle of the airport taking our luggages apart and weighing and re weighing. What a waste of time and not to mention stressful for my elderly aunt and mom. I’m not sure why some of check in clerks don’t know the rules. I’m sure you can see whom checked us in first. We went up a few times.
