We stayed at the Colonel's Inn for one night in September. We arrived at about 6:30 pm and were greeted by the owner, Cindy. Going far beyond just giving us the keys and pointing us to our room, Cindy provided a helpful introduction to Fredericton, its pedestrian trails, the route into town, and the various restaurants and other attractions to be found there. Although the house is historic, our room was large and modern. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large. The internet worked flawlessly and delivered a good fast connection. Breakfast the next day was excellent, consisting of some extremely good homemade cinnamon buns, a fruit salad, and some equally very good and clearly homemade french toast (complete with a cream cheese filling and blueberry topping). The feeling was very much that of a cozy B&B.
