Staff was extremely helpful with everything. Hotel is very clean and well kept. We stayed 4 nights and had a comfortable stay. The only negative I can think of is if you are super tall like my husbsnd he barely fit in the tub. Hotel is in a great central location and close walking to a lot of restaurants, shops,cafes.

The room was great and the staff was even better. We left a shirt there by mistake and they even saved it for us so we could retrieve - they know the area v well and they have a great collection of reading material about the area that you can browse. The location can’t be beat also. Everything about this place is top notch, highly recommend for a long or short stay in Zurich.

Enjoyed our quick stay at the Helmhaus Hotel. Service was excellent with a friendly staff. Location was great being within the Oldtown and close to shops and restaurants. The room was very well decorated with beautiful art in our room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast was exquisite and they made the best flat white to start our day. Our five year old also enjoyed the activity book, coloring pencils and slippers. Hotel provided us with towels and water for our day swimming at the local river and pool. Wonderful stay and highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel.

Pros: - Located right by münsterbrücke & old town area which is a more popular tourist area - many transit options within a short walking distance - housekeeping & breakfast area staff were nice Cons: - rideshare/taxi is not able to stop right in front of hotel due to surrounding busy street and hotel is inside a cobblestone complex - dropoff is not far from the hotel, but if you have heavy/multiple suitcases it could be an inconvenience - 1 single ridiculously small elevator. for 2 petite asian people with 2 carry-ons and 1 checkin, we had to make 2 elevator trips. - front desk staff gave conflicting information multiple times throughout our stay - our double room (#14) was SO SMALL (again we are petite asians) compared to the other 6 hotels we stayed at throughout our switzerland trip. the bathroom layout made it even more difficult to enter/exit the shower. it also faced nearby convenient stores with neon signs shining through the room all night. - very limited breakfast menu (breakfast was included in our booking, but price value would be the highest out of the 6 hotels we stayed at, for the least amount of options and worst quality)
