Very convenient location to restaurants and shopping. The room has a ceiling fan, which is great since there is no central AC (common for Europe).

Good clean functional and conveniently located hotel. I stayed for one night. The one diwnside was it has central heating where guest has no control over temp setting. My room was too hot and the one night I stayed I couldn’t sleep at all

It was a very nice stay. Rooms were very clean. The staff were amazing and friendly. Only downside is the lack of AC as the rooms got kind of stuffy, even with the windows open, and there was no fan in the bathroom so it got pretty humid. Other than that 10/10

The location of the Altstadt Hotel in Old Town Zürich was definitely the highlight of the property. For the price, the room was tiny and the cleaning staff did not thoroughly clean our room but rather tidied up. We used glasses and mugs for coffee, and they left the dirty dishes in the room which we thought was odd. Other than that, we thought the stay was simply fine vs excellent. It did the job but certainly left some things to be desired.

We booked one of the rooms with air conditioning. It was cozy and comfortable. The location is hard to beat as it is perfect both for walking around the AltStadt and for taking the tram around the city or to the Hauptbahnhof. The breakfast was o.k., but there are lots of options for cafés nearby as well as a Lidl across the river. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
