"Absolutely beautiful home for the week. Immaculate presentation.Excellent facilities in the home and the spa.Great base for exploring Normandy.Hosts were quick to answer any queries, very friendly.Only a couple of minor issues. There was nowhere to dry towels in the house when the weather was bad. Could do with a heated towel rail or clothes airer.Also, the motion sensored lights in walkways bathrooms are very bright in the night. Would be great if there was an option to dim the lights at night.Overall, a lovely stay, would highly recommend."

"Okay, where to start! First and foremost, we have had an amazing holiday and right from booking the communications with the host have been clear, concise, informative albeit in French! (Google translate is my friend!)The house from the outside is stunning, and it has been an amazing base for our fantastic holiday however, we do feel an honest review is needed. The house comprises of 5 bedrooms upstairs, a macerating toilet and a shower room with a sink. All the bedrooms upstairs have a sink in them. Downstairs you have another bedroom, utility room, separate toilet, 2 x bathrooms with a shower over the bath and sink (one also has a toilet), the kitchen, living room and then conservatory sun room. There is a second fridge freezer in the outhouse, and a table tennis table, and BBQ that we didn’t use. The outside areas are lovely but we didn’t use them, there is space to park plenty of cars. The house and grounds are in need of renovations, the furniture in need of replacing and it needs a thorough deep clean. Unfortunately, it goes deeper than French chateau charm and is need of work. The macerating toilet constantly smells and many things are falling apart due to age and usage such as blinds on windows and furniture. You are expected to clean at the end of your stay or pay a 120 cleaning fee and still do some cleaning. There is little provision to be able to do this and you can tell it hasn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. PLEASE NOTE none of this could be rectified"

"Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine dans le gîte de Debbie et Rob, tout a été parfait.Le gîte est très agréable et fonctionnel, la piscine et la Game room sont un véritable plus, où nous avons partagé des moments fantastiques.Si vous cherchez du calme, de l'espace et de l'authenticité, c'est l'endroit rêvé !!!Debbie et Rob sont également un vrai plus, ce sont des hôtes attentionnés et discrets, encore un énorme merci pour avoir fait de cette semaine en famille, une réussite"

"A charming period property in beautiful grounds in a small rural setting. Florence was very helpful and welcoming and answered any questions immediately. The main house has a well equipped kitchen, ample crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. although the fridge is small for a group of 13.All the bedrooms are accessed by quite steep staircases, ideally suited to fully mobile and younger visitors. The annex, just next door, is fully accessible for elderly guests, and anyone with mobility issues.The dining areas and sitting rooms are spacious and comfortable, and cool in the summer heat.We all really enjoyed our stay, thank you."

"The hotel is in a wonderful old mansion, in the countryside outside of Mont St. Michel. It's easy to get to. There are restaurant options a short drive away - about 10 minutes for the closest. The suite we stayed had a newly renovated bathroom and plenty of hot water. The grounds are very nice. Hopefully the grand balconies in the rear of the hotel will be open for use in the near future. It would make the stay excellent. Check-in is late, but if you are visiting Mont Saint Michel for the day, as we were, it's actually no big deal."
