I booked a deluxe room which is supposed to be slightly bigger than superior room. I stayed in their superior room previously. But to my shock, their deluxe room is smaller. When I asked the front desk, they told me that deluxe room near the lifts are smaller. This is disappointing as they never said anything like that on their hotel page. And they charged a higher rate even though the room was smaller. I have stayed at this hotel previously also. And the level of cleanliness and amenities provided has declined over a period.

Very disappointing, booked for our honeymoon. Confirmed and everything but when we reaxhed, no decorations, or balloons, or " complimentary cake, blah blha...my foot" Infact all they could say was we dont know Next time... Do you get married everyday or have 1st wedding night all the time??? Do stupid n unprofessional Not recommended I especially booked this as I was traveling from US And wanted special first night with my husband. Horrible service n staff

Checkin was rushed. Had to find our own way to the room. The key didn’t work in the elevator allowing us to press the floor number. Had to get a new key and combined at which time the front desk employee insisted to take us to our room. That was nice of him. The bed was lifeless from bother sides. Had to sleep in the middle. Bathroom sink was struggling with drainage. Had dinner at the restaurant. The food was good but the service wasn’t. Took too long for someone to check on us. Took thirty minutes to get our desert.

Originally booked room was not given to us as it was overbooked. Bill also wasn't adjusted to reflect the one night during which lower tier room was given to us. Airport shuttle was not available. Overall food quality and cleanliness was good. Once actual room was assigned, it was more comfortable.

the staff needs training , and Radisson has brand almost similar to Marriot and if they want to compete with Marriots of the world then they have to up their game. Classic example I use Marriot Convoy app, since I checked out from 1 marriot to another marriot in different city the message or request service was still showing or appearing to service desk of the marriot I checked out form , but the serve professional ensured the message was relauyed to the current marriot and the request was fulfilled but also got a call. That's called service. I would say and suggest for all those who ar win service industry if you don't like it don't work. Yes there are all kinds of people and all treat differently but you have to still maintain you approach.

Regrettable Radisson experience!!
A forgettable experince staying at Radisson Zirakpur. Checked in at 10.45 PM. Kitchen and bar closed at 11.00 PM. Tandoor wasnt working. No one was answering at reception or on the "one touch service" button. There were mosquitoes in the room. And if that was not enough there were people partying in rooms opposite to our room. Drunk people were screaming and shouting in the corridor, drunk girls were ringing our room-bell repeatedly. On informing the reception they just gave an excuse that tgere is a marriage party staying at tge hotel and they have some issues. All this at 3.30 am in the night. A waiter was also manhandled by those partying drunks! Defi itely not a radisson experience and definitely not a hotel for a Family stay.

Clean rooms, lobby. Great breakfast.
I stayed here for 3 days prior to going home to avoid any risk of infecting family in case I got something on my flight to Chandigarh. Luckily I tested Covid negative, but there were definitely times inside hotel where compliance wasn't great- specially amongst customers as most didn't wear mask in common areas. Staff mostly did wear mask, but some in typical Indian fashion of below the nose. Apart from that, the stay was very pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to cater to requests giving great room service especially during breakfast buffet. The room was very clean, as were the common areas. The rooftop is beautiful, huge area to rest and get some sun. The pool is closed due to Covid. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The dinner is very expensive, and the biryani tasted kind of bland. I'd recommend downloading Zomato and ordering- many good restaurants nearby deliver. One thing which was rather annoying- I got a 500 Rs voucher on hotels.com with my booking for food & drink but when I tried to redeem it at checkout they said it only meant soft drink and nothing else.

Disappointing stay
I must say that, during my stay I faced several disappointments. To start with, even though I checked in after 3.30PM, my room was not ready when I arrived. I was offered a key to the room upon check-in (with the sales pitch that its a room with a view) and when I went to the room, I and my family were shocked to see that we were given the key to a room that is not even cleaned/made up after the last guest check out. When I complained to the front desk about this, I was given another room which neither had the view nor the requested bed option. All these fiasco left us devoid of the first 1.5 hours of precious time. The room did not have the tea sachets/sugar etc and our request in the evening to provide us with the same met with very courteous response over the phone but the materials were not delivered to the room even after reminding for them twice. Finally we had to go personally to the front desk and ensure that the sachets were delivered to the room. The restaurant and the service by the staff there were very satisfactory and we were pleased with the attitude of the Manager and the serving staff. Thanks for that. The night was horrible as were were unable to get any sleep. There were loud noises coming from the rooms adjacent to ours which were occupied by guests of some wedding party. Their banter went on till 4AM.

NEED SOME IMPROVEMENTS...... Location is far from Chandigarh, you will stuck in traffic to reach the hotel because it is situated in Zirakpur (Punjab) nearby of Chandigarh. Room is really nice as it is always of Radisson. Clean bedsheet, a good collection of in room tea, less noisy, comfortable bed.
