« When we arrived we were alarmed by the look of the place compared to the website. The room looked tired and tatty. We asked for another room, but as it was a holiday weekend they were unable to assist for the whole 4 days. The managers were friendly enough but the room was clean but in a very poor state of repair. »

« 산 위에 자리해서 전망이 아주 빼어나고 전체 분위기가 유럽에 와있는 기분이라 자주 이용하고 있습니다. 워낙 동이 많고 거리가 많이 떨어져 있어서 안내 데스크에서만 안내를 받아서 찾아가야 하는 불편함이 조금 있어요. 이번에 묵은 숙소는 방 2개, 화장실 2개 구조였는데 침대방 매트리스가 뒤척일 때마다 꿀렁거리고 침대 머릿장이 따로 놀아서 어른들이 불편했다고 말씀하시네요. 욕실 바닥과 방 구석부분 청소가 덜 되어 있어서 많이 아쉬웠습니다. 하지만 아침 일출과 낮은 산 등산로에 반해 계속 이용하게 되네요. 새벽부터 해돋이보러 일부러 안 나가도 방에서 보는 해금강 선들 사이에서 떠 오르는 해를 볼 수 있는 이점이 아주 큰 것 같습니다. »

« I recently stayed at Hyacinth Pension for a two-night trip to Tongyeong. While the view from the bay-facing rooms is lovely and there’s a charming coffee shop and gift store just down the hill, the condition of the property fell well below what was advertised. We rented a “Deluxe Duplex,” and sadly saw visible water damage, the bathroom was damp with long term mold and a rotting door. The steep internal staircase had no handrail, and the sleeping mezzanine had no accessible light switch—an...
