Whether you're planning to whale-watch, storm-watch, or spend a sparkling summer on the beach, this oceanfront home in beautiful Yachats will provide you with a front-row seat. You'll be less than three miles north of town, with only a grassy lawn separating you from the sand and ocean waves. Upon entering this single-level home, you'll be greeted by both carpet and tile floors, natural wood adorning the walls and ceilings, and a wall of picture windows framing the Pacific Ocean. The oceanfront living room and dining room are warmed by a fireplace, with the living room offering soft sofas and recliners where you can read, watch TV, and admire incredible sunset views. The kitchen is outfitted with every essential appliance, and the adjacent sheltered patio features a gas grill, outdoor seating, and a brick firepit where you can roast marshmallows at dusk. When it's time to turn in, you'll find two bedrooms - including an oceanfront suite - in the main part of the house, a half-bathroom, and the washer/dryer right across the breezeway. Things to Know Full kitchen Up to two dogs are welcome for a nightly fee If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). This is a really cute, cozy house just a few steps away from the beach and just a couple of miles away from shops and restaurants. The kitchen is fully stocked, and it has a nice patio area outside. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again! I have no doubt the location (right on the beach) and the fact it was all locked up on a hot day were the main contributing factors - it was however a little overwhelming. We opened all the windows and by the next morning the smell was not noticeable to any of us. The location was amazing! We got to walk on a nearly deserted beach for as far as we wanted. That was worth the cost of the night here. The carpet needs replacing or deep cleaning there were lots of stains. But with that said - I still left this place wishing I had more time to stay (my wife didn’t agree). It was comfortable with all necessary amenities. It is an old beachside residence. The driveway and yard is shared with an adjacent cabin. The access to the beach does require a little maneuvering on a 6' or so rocky decline but would be manageable for anyone who can walk unaided - with caution though. This place would benefit from new carpet, new furnishings, a fence between cabins and some steps or hand rail added for beach access. But then it would demand a higher price per night! Overall I was satisfied I got what I paid for and would definitely stay here again. The outdoor fire pit is very cool. ##### Samuel D. A great ocean view, although the beach access is a bit treacherous as you have to make your way down a cliff. The house is old and outdated but comfortable. The only real problem was the kitchen. Our stay had a little stormy weather, but the space was warm and cozy and perfect for tea by the fireplace. The beds are amazing and possibly the best in any rental we've been in .
