We only stayed briefly but very much enjoyed our visit. The amenities were great, the instructions were clear and the property was beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the stream. The host was very friendly and responsive.
We spend 5 night upstate and this place last 2 night. Very nice cute little house by river. Very good if no rain all day. Place 1 minute to the pizzeria and restaurant by walk.
This little cottage was a great find! Not as secluded as originally thought, neighbors visible on all sides and near a busy overpass. However, still pretty quiet considering and lots of restaurants and hiking trails nearby.

Very quaint and comfortable. The stream provides a beautiful white noise. The kitchen appliances are in great condition and resemble art deco.
The outside equipment and ambiance are excellent and easy to use.
Very cute cabin, cozy and warm. It was a bit too cold to fully enjoy the stream, but we could hear it from the bedroom with the window cracked and gave us an incredibly relaxing evening! Walkable to the coffee shop and a good Mexican restaurant. Matt was very responsive. We will definitely book again when coming back to town

Really liked my first stay here. I would have liked it to be more secluded, but it wasn't disappointing because the host made it explicit that the main road was very close. That was the only down side. Everything else about my stay was nice. The HVAC worked well, the hot water, the place was clean (except for a few silverware, probably due to previous guest), and the bear theme throughout was nice. I'm hoping to come back.
Stayed for three days with my partner. Cabin is a small place with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The size wasn’t an issue since it was expected. You’ll maneuver yourself through if you’re a bigger person. It is next to a running stream that you can hear from the bedroom (very calming). Note: it is about 20-30 yards away from a main road, so any traffic that goes through there you will be able to hear. It wasn’t that much but it’s not a being secluded in the woods quiet.
I arrived after dark and was so pleased to see all the available lighting which made me feel safe. I loved listening to the sound of the stream as I sat outside and as I drifted off to sleep. The seating areas outside are beautiful. This is a very clean and welcoming cottage. Matt responded quickly to any question I had. I received all the information I needed to make my stay pleasant. Check in and check out was easy. It is on a main street so I heard an occasional truck or traffic, but it was not bothersome. And the location is convenient to all the cute shops and restaurants. The landscaping around the cottage made it feel like I was in the woods. Loved the bear motif.
Thank you for making this such a pleasant stay. If I should come to this area in the future, I will definitely rent this cottage again.
Great attention to detail in decoration. Immaculate with thoughtful touches. Enjoyed having a outdoor fire two nights. The one thing to be aware of is the busy road the house is located on. Will definitely stay again.
The interior design is charming, but the exterior needs some landscaping and weeding done. The kitchen was well equipped but next refrigerator could be larger. Our main problem was the internet and the air conditioning were intermittent. I also suggest more towels.
The unit was well maintained. took a couple tries to find due to being off the main road and down a hill. Getting ahold of the manager was a difficult do to going thru vrbo email and not a standard email.
overall the stay was nice.
Tucked away on a side street is a cozy little cabin next to a picturesque stream. We loved our coffee in the morning on the front porch and ate breakfast at the picnic table by the stream. We walked into town and enjoyed the shops. Ran into a history tour which sounded interesting. The cabin was close to a winery and walking trails, which we enjoyed. In the evening we walked to dinner and ice cream, eating the latter sitting in Adirondack chairs by the stream. The cabin inside was very cozy and clean. I loved the black bear theme throughout! Wonderful amenities, I could go on and on! The bed was comfortable and we loved the pillows- took a picture of them so we could get some for home! Yes, we would definitely recommend, and if our travels take us back to Wurtsboro, we would definitely stay here again.
