With a mix of mid-century style and artsy touches, this space is gorgeous. The cabin is tucked into a pocket of nature surrounded by 3 acres of oaks, elms, and junipers. The expansive front windows and raised deck provide and incredible sunset view across the hills and dark sky lighting sets the stage for breathtaking starry skies. The hot tub and outdoor shower is the icing on the cake! This cabin has it all. The large upstairs loft features a king bed, reading chair, luggage bench, and large picture window with a killer view. The downstairs bedroom features custom bunk beds, two reading chairs, a smart TV, and half bath. The main bathroom is downstairs just beside the loft stairwell, with a walk-in shower. The cabin’s living area feels cozy, yet spacious with a soaring ceiling that follows the A-frame roofline and giant picture windows overlooking the deck and the hills. It features a reading nook, leather sofa, dining area, custom cherry kitchen, and a beautiful Malm electric fireplace. Just outside the living room doors is the large split-level deck with Acapulco chairs, an outdoor dining area, and a hot tub. At the rear of the cabin, there’s a lovely seating area around a fire ring and a charcoal grill. Both bedrooms have access to rear exterior doors that lead down the short trail to the incredible, private outdoor shower. While this cabin makes an ideal spot for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, wedding night, or anniversary, it’s also wonderful for a family or small group of friends. The child-friendly amenities including indoor baby gates, a high chair, travel crib, and toys allow tiny vacationers to feel welcome as well. Our eco-conscious amenities include: recycling, eco-friendly soaps, detergents &cleaners, premium recycled paper products, dark sky lighting, and a reverse-osmosis filtered drinking water. Please note:we ask that you refrain from loud music and noises to help us maintain the peacefulness of our Hill Country space and our relationships with our neighbors. We do not allow weddings, parties, rehearsal dinners, etc., no matter how small. Thank you for understanding that we are not permitted for any type of events. Pet Fee: Our pet fee is $50 each for friendly, leashed pets. Please declare pets at time of booking (max 2 pets without prior approval). This Cabin was perfect ! The Cabin & location were beautiful! The beds were comfy. The cabin was well appointed and stocked, we had everything we needed. We brought games to play and spent most of our time out on the deck, enjoying the beautiful sites, wonderful sunsets and night skies. The hot tub was wonderful too. We enjoyed hot tub later in the evening or in the early hours of the morning because it was still pretty warm during the day. I would love to come back here during cooler temperatures to enjoy the hot tub more. We spent a day visiting charming downtown Wimberley walking & visiting all the shops, getting coffee, ice cream, and meals. Our favorite meal was at the Leaning Pear restaurant. We would’ve liked to stay longer, and do more nature activities available in Wimberley AND of course enjoy the cabin…but the Cabin was only available for the two nights or else we most definitely stayed longer…..Thank You for Sharing your LOVELY CABIN with us ! ##### Bridget D. The cabin was exceptional, very clean, has all useful amenities for a weekend and is pet friendly ! The owners even left a dog basket with treats, hair remover roll and towels for our dog. The view is amazing, very peaceful and very well located 10min from the town center. The hot tub is really enjoyable with a nice view. The house architect is very unique and clean. The views from inside and out on the decks - beautiful. The hot tub worked great, all the instructions for that and everything in the house were easy to follow. Wonderful place for peaceful getaway, yet still a quick drive to wonderful shops, restaurants, breweries, and grocery stores. Highly recommend! ##### Dave S. The A Frame is absolutely beautiful! The hot tub was wonderful, the views are simply amazing from both inside the home as well as outside from the deck or hot tub. The location is remote enough for solitude and privacy, but close enough to the town of Wimberly for restaurants and grocery stores. Lots of great features. Loved the open concept. The hot tub was great. The view is great for sunsets.We enjoyed the stay very much. The location was very close to Wimberley and only a 45 min drive to downtown Austin. A couple things that could have been a little better The quilts didnt smell very fresh. They smelled like they have been used a lot. The bathroom floors need a deep clean. The floors left our socks dirty. Other than that it was a great property. Perfect location, views. Arrival up to A Frame is perfect. Beautiful presentation of the house, and seen through the front door a beautiful lit Christmas tree.. Deck and view amazing, very well built and clean place, and quick access to Wimberley square area and points beyond!
