No detail was spared in building and furnishing this beautiful 5 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath luxury Ranch. (2 full baths and 1 half bath in the main house). Dark shining mesquite floors and rich leather furnishings provide beauty and old world charm to the living spaces, one of which features a large wood-burning stone fireplace, sure to be a favorite on those cool breezy nights. Saddle up to the 17ft breakfast bar complete with leather barstools, or sit the whole group down to a meal at the large oak dining table. Enter your absolutely gorgeous kitchen with an island, an abundance of counter space, a 6-burner gas stove and two ovens! Some upkeep to the property would make this place that much better, quite a few light bulbs are out around the wrap around porch and the abundance of light switches could be easier to use if they were labeled. The secludedness of the location is amazing but may not be ideal for all, so adding that into the description may be helpful. We were unable to use the hot tub because we were just so busy we did notice though that the view it’s supposed to offer is covered by one of the trees, also at night there’s little to no light in that area. The house itself is beautiful. Lots of space and a breath of fresh air. I only wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities this home had to offer overall 7.5/10 ##### Rowdy C. The house has great space, however, the listing stated three bathrooms and five bedrooms. There is only two bathrooms and a half bathroom with six adults we definitely needed a full third bathroom. Lastly the property needed some love at the pool and screened in porch. The pool had a section where no filtration was flowing it seemed you could see green slime growing. There was a section on the door to the screened porch kept falling out and no one ever power washed the porch so many dead bugs. But we made the best of everything for our weekend. It had everything that we could possibly wish for. . . The only snags we encountered was the microwave wasn’t working, and had trouble locating the trash bins to place the trash in. Finally found an empty bin at the end of the steps leading to the horse pasture. We placed our trash inside, I certainly hope that it was the correct place. The common spaces are large and worked really well for our two families of four. We really enjoyed the hot tub at sunset and under the stars. Beds were quite comfortable. It had everything and more. I have never stayed anywhere that had such a stocked kitchen with all the spices and cooking accessories you could need/want. The house was comfortable, clean and spacious. The setting was fantastic and it was an easy trip to Wimberley and Dripping Springs. Austin was a bit of drive. The house seems much bigger than in the pictures. Pool and hot tub were both fabulous. Morning coffee on the wrap around porch, looking at the rolling hills was so fulfilling. We came with our immediately family for the Thanksgiving holiday. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably in their rooms, eat together and hang out in the living area. Kids loved visiting with Sugar and Spice every day. Beautiful property, gorgeous sunsets and sunrises.
