Cabin in Beautiful Timber Coulee

Nestled between the hills and valleys in southwest Wisconsin you’ll find us and beautiful timber coulee. You will find yourself sitting across the road from the world renowned trout fishing capital Coon Creek, 1 mile from the International Continental Ski Jumping Competition that happens in late January/ early February every year. One mile from the Westby Snowflake Ski and Golf Club with 9 hole golf course and clubhouse featuring bar and food. Located on snowmobile trails and UTV public road. 30 minutes to the Mississippi River. Great option for privacy and being surrounded by the beautiful hills and valleys located all around our cute cabin. Located on County Highway P between Westby and Coon Valley, WI.

Inside you will find a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom amenities. We feature a master bedroom with queen size bed and a loft with two twin size beds and a queen size mattress.

Outside you will find a porch with bridge over looking springs and pond. You will also find gas grill and fire pit. You won’t want to miss out on this little gem of a cabin. Come relax, enjoy and play in beautiful Timber Coulee.

The cabin was nice and location was quiet. We were expecting a fireplace for the holidays. Apparently the fireplace listed twice in the description had been removed the year prior, due to operational issues. Unfortunately, the description had not been updated. This was a disappointment and the owner apologized, but there was nothing to be done. The wood for the fire pit that was outside was too wet to be used. Other than this issue the stay was fine. Comfortable cabin and the creek running close to the front is a nice reminder of nature. The property limits are outlined and are fairly tight so any walking or hiking needs to be done farther away - short drive or longer walk away.Tanya was responsive and that was appreciated.

Nice clean cabin that has been maintained well! The grounds were also well maintained and we loved the fire pit. Very peaceful setting. We cooked dinners and breakfasts and had all the utensils and pots/pans we needed. Great location for fly fishing the local streams! If we could change two things, it would be to have the neighbor turn off the outdoor flood lights so we would get a better view of the night sky, and some bath soap and shampoo. Other than that … perfect! 5 stars!

Great spot for fishing timber coulee creek and a little golf at the par 3 course at Snowflake. The heron stopped by to feed in the creek just off the deck and the deer all but joined us for our morning coffee. I thought the road would be too close but there were so few vehicles we hardly noticed. A very nice spot to slow down for a few days.

Perfect in every way!

The cabin is very comfortable and well equipped. Beds and linens were very nice and the kitchen had every item necessary for cooking in during rainy weather. We dd not use the grill but did use it during our first visit and it worked well. Location! Location! Location! perfect for fishing and shopping in the nearby towns. Thanks Tanya for sharing this great cabin with us!

Shorter than planned stay due to family emergency but wonderful property in beautiful location

Great property away from it all but close enough to town to for things to do and to get anything you needed. Property was very clean and welcoming and loved the brook that ran through the property. Had to leave earlier than planned due to a family emergency but had a great time for the time we stayed. Look forward to staying here again soon for a longer timeframe. Thanks again to Tanya for a great property, a great host, and a great experience!

Three of us used this cabin as home base for a fly fishing trip to the Driftless. It was perfect for what we needed. Great location within easy reach of several of the premier trout streams. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and nestled in a peaceful and scenic location. Enjoyed listening to the bubbling springs and the wild birds in the woods. The owner was very responsive to our questions about the property and went out of her way to accommodate a request for extra supplies. I would definitely stay again.

Fun trip to the Driftless

The cabin is in a great location right across the road from the Timber Coulee. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights in April. The view out the front windows, in the morning, goes well with morning coffee. If the weather had been warmer, we would have spent the evenings on the front deck.We will return.
