We stayed at Elkhorn Cabins near Yellowstone’s West Entrance and had a great experience overall. The staff were very accommodating and even let us check in early, which we really appreciated after a long drive. The cabins themselves are charming, nicely styled, and kept very clean with daily service. Having laundry facilities on-site was also a big plus. That said, there are a few drawbacks. The bathroom is quite small, and the air conditioner is a small window unit that runs very loudly. The fridge is located right next to the bed, which made it hard to sleep at times, and the walls are quite thin, we could easily hear conversations from the neighbouring room. Nicely renovated and very clean! The only suggestion I could have is installing minisplit units instead of window shaker type. The window shaker is loud and you have to increase the volume of the TV to hear when is on. This was such an amazing inn to stay in. It was so comfortable and affordable. It’s about a 2 min walk to the center of the town and it’s right by the Yellowstone west entrance. Super convenient, clean, and comfortable. Can’t say enough good things about this place! Limited amenities; room had no microwave, no counter space for toiletries, no cabinets or dresser drawers for clothing and such. TV was a smaller wall mounted TV.
