Wee Jasper is a small village with a population of around 275 people, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, although it swells to nearly 2000 over the Christmas/New Year period. Its eighty minutes North West of Canberra and 45 minutes South West of Yass nestled not far from the Goodradigbee River and the Hume and Hovell walking track. Its eighty minutes North West of Canberra and 45 minutes South West of Yass nestled not far from the Goodradigbee River and the Hume and Hovell walking track.
