OCEANFRONT Waves - Sea Isle Hills - Bring your family to WHIMSEAGULL WAVES this year for a playful island vacation. This lovely oceanfront home located on a quiet cul de sac is decorated in charming beach decor. The expansive pool area provides plenty of seating for your group around the large concrete pool and poolside Tiki bar. Other ground level conveniences for beach and pool days include a footwash just outside the pool gate for rinsing off the sand, a cabana half bath and outdoor shower, and a fish cleaning table with water and lights. The first level of the home offers four bedrooms for sweet dreams. A king bedroom with TV/DVD shares a bath with a bedroom with 2 single beds. Both have a slider to the oceanfront deck. A queen bedroom with flat screen TV shares a bath with the bunk bedroom. The laundry is also on this level. The top level is home to a master queen bedroom with vaulted ceiling, flat screen TV, an attached bathroom, and beautiful ocean view with slider to the top-level deck. The spacious great room boasts high vaulted ceiling and windows that reach to the sky from which you can view the Carolina blue ocean views. The seating area surrounds a large flat screen TV, while the nearby dining area seats 10 at the dining table, another 4 at a breakfast table and another 4 at the kitchen breakfast bar. All seating allows your family to dine with a view. The kitchen has plenty of counterspace and conveniences for the chef in the group. After dinner, step out onto the oceanfront deck or down to the pool area for a soak in the bubbly hot tub under the stars. New for 2024: New great room furniture. New bathroom for upstairs and new powder room. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and the views from the main level were wonderful. The fireplace was nice in the evenings and put off a lot of heat. We were most concerned about the internet access because my high schooler was taking online classes due to COVID. The internet signal was very strong and we didn't have any difficulty. We did have an issue with the washing machine which was quickly addressed by management. Being able to bring our two dogs was great and they really enjoyed the beach and the sand. The house was clean, very homey, and had beautiful views...as well as being a beautiful house. As far as the pool being freezing, and I/we were unaware of adding that to our stay. It was to late when I called to see about the heating, and the amount was out of this world! The tiki bar/hot tub was a huge hit we used them every night and really enjoyed ourselves with family, and friends. The walk to the beach wasn’t bad but oceanfront usually means oceanfront...yes it’s a short walk but unfortunately we had a family member that couldn’t make the walk to the beach because of health issues, and the hill was to much for him. We had a great time, and made great memories there. Just wish we were more aware of the heating of the pool because it was almost unbearable. The pool and hot tub was nice and relaxing. Plenty of sleep space and well stocked kitchen. The house was not vaccuumed very well when we got there but I called housekeeping and they came out and recleaned what we asked for. I liked that the linens and towels were laundered and seeled in bags upon our arrival. ##### Will and Crissy S. Séjour de 7 nuits en août 2020 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Jessica C. 28 sept. 2020 Points forts : Propreté #### Amazing views..so close to the beach!! The house was beautiful and well kept! Large and perfect for a small group. We stayed with our 3 children ages 8, 4 and 4 months, my mother, and a good friend who tagged along as well and our pup. The pool was a great extra to have - especially in between our trips to the beach! Great for cooling off after the walk back and lugging all our beach supplies too. I will say, the pool filter system is not the right size (too small) for the pool, and so we did have to clean the pool pretty constantly. The sand dunes behind this property are TALL on either beach access, and so it was definitely a little bit of a workout to get to the beach every day - but it is super close to the shoreline so that made up for it :) House was clean and very well kept! Only thing we noticed was that air vents could use some scrubbing and a few were coming out of the ceiling vents themselves..just need to be tightened up a bit. There were also a few nails on the decks that need to be hammered back down into place to avoid snagging/scratching feet (especially for the little ones). Beds could use replacing as we noted that they were very very soft and not too comfortable..but these are nitpicking critiques and we had a wonderful time and the house and location were great. This house was amazing! The location was perfect and even though there is a dune between the house and the beach, access was easy. There were 12 of us total and there was ample room for everyone. We didn’t feel crowded at all. The kitchen was very well equipped and the layout of the house was nice. We enjoyed the many decks and the amazing pool area. The house was clean and well kept. We would love to visit this property again. Highly recommend! ##### Maggie B.
