Family Lakefront Cabin! Hot Tub, Arcades & Dock

"Emily was awesome to work with. She was very attentive and quick to respond. We could tell she wanted our experience to be a positive one. And it was for the most part.The cabin was about as well stocked as one could want. The kitchen had enough utensils, pots and pans, bowls, etc.. They also had adequate items for baby’s and toddlers. All in all the cabin was fine.The issue that we had is the listing said the unit had air conditioning, and technically it did as the main space had a wall mounted unit. The rest of the home was not air conditioned, which made for some pretty warm nights in the bedrooms and lower level. So much so we considered going into town to purchase some fans. The air conditioned in the listing was a bit misleading.The second issue, although not a huge one, but needs to be mentioned, are the stairs to the waterfront. The stairs are very steep and could be difficult to navigate for families with infants, toddlers and grandparents. They are about 2-3 stories and are at an angle similar to a ladder leaning on a house. Don’t get me wrong we loved the beach and the frontage, but multiple treks up and down the stairs could be challenging for some folks.All in all our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed the cabin very much. The air conditioning thing was really the only issue we had with this property."

"Diane and David were so congenial and easy to talk to! As friendly as any hosts we’ve worked with a long time! The home and site were clean and well prepared. Our families enjoyed their rooms, the kitchen, and the spacious gathering rooms. The pontoon, dock, and kayaks offered activities to everyone. Very positive all around! Thank you for a great week!"

"We had our family of 11 including grandkids ages 6-17. Something for everyone even on a rainy day.Home and property are beautiful and well maintained. Nice furnishings inside and out.So many water toys to use!! Nice to not have to bring anything.Agnus is a wonderful host and easy to reach.A definite repeat for us!"

"Our 3 generation family soenr a full week at Emerald Point. This house was absolutely beautiful and the most well stocked kitchen and house we have ever stayed in. There wasn't a thing that we needed that wasn't there. There were 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids) ages 10 - 77. Each couple had their own bedroom and the 6 kids loved staying in the bunk room together, each able to have their own bed. We enjoyed relaxing!!!, the pontoon, kayaking, the peddle boat, the paddle boards, fishing, swimming, games, golf, shopping, and really enjoyed walking to the Dam Good Coffee shop for coffee and icecream. We enjoyed sweetcorn and fruit from a local stand, and saw so many deer. The inside of the house was immaculate. Communication with Sarah was easy and she was always responsive and helpful. We would definitely love to return!"

"Older motel. Has the amenities that we needed to stay for 3 nights while going to a camp nearby. Bfst very basic, bagels, waffles, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, juice coffee tea and bananas. Eating area very compact."

"We just completed another great year at Bonding Time. The cottage is the perfect size for our large family. It was clean and contained plenty of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, etc. Everyone had a wonderful time enjoying the water including swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Dave and Diane are wonderful to work with and responded to any questions immediately."
