« Worst stay of the year! Our room was directly above the bar. The live music from the bar vibrated our room until well after 10pm Friday and Saturday. The beds were ultra cheap and hard. Sleep was impossible. Floors were creaky and stairs were long and steep. The room was dark with only a few lamps, which half the bulbs were burned out. The outlet in the nightstand didn’t work so had to charge phone out of reach. They couldn’t pay me to go back. »

« When I called re a florist in the area for fresh bouquet, the manager said he'd be happy to get their Gardener to cut flowers and make a bouquet for me. Wow, that was so nice! When it was brought to our room the girl would not take any payment. The flowers were lovely and went on my mother's grave. I really appreciate how they went out of their way for me. The room was spotless and the a/c worked very well. Plus we enjoyed having a living area and kitchen. We were within walking distance...

« CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel...

« We stay at Marriotts hotels for the reliable service and comfortable beds. This stay was disappointing in that the bed was the reason we left early. Very uncomfortable bed. We also were surprised to see that house keeping service was on an every other day schedule. Definitely not what we are used to from Marriott. »
