An 8-minute drive takes you to historic Georgetown, while a 10-minute drive immerses you in the Smithsonian Museums, Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery, and the World War II Memorial. Craving seafood? A quick 10-minute drive to The Wharf satisfies your culinary desires. Feeling lucky? A 20-minute drive leads to the National Harbor/MGM Casino for a thrilling night out.

Located in the Ballston/Clarendon area which includes many dining, shopping and entertainment such as the Ballston Quarter Regal Cinemas. If relying on Metro, the Ballston Metro station is less than 10 mins walking which can take you to all your touristic DC sites. We are a 8 minute drive to historic Georgetown, a 10 minute drive to all the Smithsonian Museums, Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery, World War II Memorial. We are a 10 minute drive from The Wharf known for the freshest and best seafood in the DC metropolitan area, and a 20 minute drive to the National Harbor/MGM Casino.

At the end of our street, you will find a family friendly park which includes a grassy open field for a quick game of soccer,kickball, fly a kite and more. It also includes a full size playground for the kiddos and a basketball court. Our home comes equipped with a loaner soccer ball and basketball if needed for use at the park.

While our area allows for plenty of parking and ease of transportation by car, the best method and most common use of transportation for tourists is the Ballston Metro station which is located a couple of blocks away from our home. Metro allows ease of access into all the popular touristic sites in Washington, DC to include Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, and all Smithsonian museums/National Mall/Capital/White House.
We DO NOT allow smoking inside the home at anytime. Should you or your guests smoke, we do offer a smoking designated area outdoor for your use and ask that you please dispose of your butts in the proper receptacle, provided.

When we began looking for properties for this trip, our priority was something within walking distance to a Metro station. It was an easy 14-minute walk to the nearest station. The home was also well-kept and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay!

Great location and sleeps a lot

We have a large-ish group on a family vacation. We had two kids who comfortably had their own rooms. The location is the best part! It is an older house so in the winter the heat/cold varied across the bedrooms as is pretty usual in the houses in the area but overall it was easily managed! Great communication with the host and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Great trip to Arlington

Very nice property close to everything in Arlington and DC. We had a great time and loved the accommodations. Home was perfect for my family of 8 adults and 2 young children and would like to stay there again on our return trip there in future. Property manager/owner was wonderful to work with and very accommodating.

We had a very good stay in the house . House is well designed within small space and have everything which we needed for stay . House was very clean and had enough towels, comforters for 6 people . Happy to stay again .

We really enjoyed our stay at Glebe! The house was spacious enough for 5 adults, was clean and was at a great location. Kelly really made sure the home was stocked with everything you could need. Check in and out was simple and easy. Overall a great stay with a great host!

Perfect Family Vacation!

The seven of us (ages 22mo-68y) enjoyed our stay! A short 15 minute walk to the metro and restaurants. Very quiet in the evenings, even though it is adjacent to a main highway. Remember that it is an old house, but that gives it so much charm! Very clean and comfortable! A great home away from home while seeing the Washington DC sites.

Great for a family. Comfortable beds and good pillows. Kitchen had everything we needed even though very small. Park was a short beautiful walk away. Kids enjoyed.

DC family visit

The house was neat and clean. The location, in particular, was great! Close to main arteries so trips into DC by personal car or Uber were pretty easy and not really expensive, resp. We would stay here again.
