Half a block is a Harris Teeter, 10min walk to 14th&U, 10min bike ride to DuPont Circle, WoodleyPark/Zoo. Only 1.5 miles to the WhiteHouse, downtown,Chinatown & all DC landmarks. FREE street parking. The space Cozy English basement apt in the heart of beautiful Adams Morgan! As an avid traveler, I’m familiar with the significance of staying in a clean and comfortable place during travels. Spacious bedroom with a queen size bed: \-Superior mattress and topper with Luxury pillows (Sealy and Tommy Bahama pillow brands) for a very comfortable sleep \-Bar height dining table with comfortable bar height chairs \-Kitchen is well appointed and has all kitchenware items to make a comfortable stay (pots & pans, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, wine glasses, wine bottle opener, can opener, basic cooking ingredients, blender etc) \-Bathroom recently renovated with a hair dryer and first aid kid provided \-Iron, ironing board, 2 umbrellas provided in the bedroom closet \-Ninja Coffee Bar that makes delicious coffee \-Tea kettle for tea lovers (black tea and green tea provided). A tea set is also avail for tea lovers. \-Large bottle of sanitizer is provided by entrance \-Flooring is hardwood flooring and ceramic tiles \-High speed internet via Xfinity/Comcast. \-TV is a 42” flat screen that provides Netflix and Peacock Flex Box with hundreds of movies, shows, various tv networks etc (service provided by Comcast) \-Sleep sound machine brand HoMedics that plays nature sounds. We walked everywhere and loved being close to grocery and restaurants. We had everything we needed and Janine was a very helpful and responsive host. I especially appreciated the shower water pressure, comfortable bed and soft bedding, and the choice of coffee and teas. The upstairs folks were a little loud one night, but it wasn't a huge issue for me. I used the provided noise machine and was fine. We stayed here in April when we were in DC for a conference at the Omni Hotel, a nice 10 or 15 minute walk from this apartment. The place is sweet and communication is good -- there are clear check in and check out procedures and notes to explain things. The neighborhood is lovely and the Harris Teeter supermarket is very close. Some of the remodel work in the place was clearly DIY and could use some finishing touches, and the closet was unusable since it was full of items being stored by the owner, but these were minor annoyances. It was clean and had enough space for us to relax on a couch in front of the tv after a long day of walking. Directions are clearly posted all over.
