A unique place to stay : the hotel and restaurant have been decorated with a lot of wooden things and is dedicated to aviation - there's a small "Top Gun" exhibit inside and a plane in front of the hotel - and to a famous soda ... Everything has been done with dedication and taste. The personal is kind and you get all the comfort you need. But the floor was really sticky in my room which also had a cooking smell, and it seems like there's nothing to do in this area.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is amazing and the rooms are decorated so unique and cute. We loved our room #10. Check in was very easy! We ate at the bar/restaurant which was really good. We enjoyed our stay and will be back..

Great staff & service! Love the late 1800's decor. Especially loved the real F14 TOMCAT in the memorial park and the real Topgun instructer, Heater Heatleys F14 Tomcat Ready Room!!! Highly recommend a stay!!!

I loved this motel! I found it last minute as I was driving to Colorado. And it was perfect! The one level was really nice, and not having to go up and down the elevators was a PLUS! The restaurant on site was really good with a nice selection of food and a full bar! The Airplane Museum was a nice plus also. Nice to see some history of the area. I Have told everyone about it and they plan on staying at the Prairie Rose when they're traveling through Kansas. I will be stopping my next trip back.! Thank you for the memorable Stay Prairie Rose!

What a beautiful little motel. Our room was actually 2 spacious rooms furnished with antiques from the place it was named after. The restaurant was great and service was good. I was sorry we were only there for one night, I could have stayed for a week.

Wonderful hotel. Clean rooms, GREAT staff! LOVE having the grill/bar on site. Fantastic food and coffee! Stayed there on our way to CO, and got delayed because of weather coming back, so stayed there again! Next time through Kansas, we will DEFINITELY stay for a visit!

Great overnight stay. Unique rooms, cool bar, nice dining room, delicious food and friendly staff. Skip going to a chain hotel, this is the one to go to. We will be back next time we travel this way!!!

This was our second stay, and the second was as good as the first. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, especially considering the temperature outside was nearly 100 degrees when we arrived. The price, $110 is hard to beat for a room with two queens, plus a sitting room. The restaurant/bar area is excellent with plenty of drink and food options, with dinners available to 9 pm. This is a great place to stay.

It is a unique place with a very convenient restaurant and bar. The staff was friendly and helpful. I found the unusual check-in process confusing, but the available staff was helpful. The bed was a bit soft for me.

The beds are super comfortable and rooms are decorated with country charm. We liked the accessibility to room and building being emailed for easy access whenever you arrive. Our kids had a separate room and worried that a window didn't close completely. Mgmt should take a look at the windows, as this is a renovated older structure. We've stayed here before and plan to again next year as we travel to Colorado.

Excellent place to stay while traveling through Kansas. The restaurant on site has great breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room furnishings are quaint Wild West with a lot of antiques but with all the modern conveniences, even a nice non-slip mat in the shower. The price is very reasonable. This was the nicest place I’ve stayed on my 7,000 mile trip across the country. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!
