The host was very welcoming & explained & went thru everything with us! Host was very helpful & came out right away if we needed anything at all. And very good at communicating with us right away. When we drove up to their beautiful lodge, our grandkids were so excited & couldn’t believe that all of this lodge was ours for a few day! And then when we went inside they were amazed at all the rooms. Then we took them outside & said these other buildings are also ours for the days we were there. We showed them the game room building & their mouths were wide open with unbelief that they got to play this all weekend, then they saw the hot tub & extra bedroom in there also. They were deciding who get what bed in what building. And then outside another building was the sauna, which was amazing. There was so much to do there for the time we were there we didn’t even leave the lodge what we called “ our very own resort oasis”! I could go on & on with all the amenities, it couldn’t have been more perfect for our family 13, everyone had a bed, & the kids never got bored! We all agreed we want to come back there & stay longer. We made so many wonderful memories that will be with us forever! As our dad always said, “ it’s all about the memories”! So thank you Darby & Rebekah for the wonderful memories! Mark, Cindy & family

Very fun spot!

This is a very cool remote place. Make sure to bring groceries the store in town does not have a lot. My kids were back and forth between the main house and game room the whole weekend. They enjoyed the hot tub and sauna as well. We did not rent the atv/utv but if the weather would have been better we would have.

The best place to stay in northern MN!

We were all very happy with this property. The amenities were fabulous! The grounds were beautiful! The separate cabin was extra nice. The owner answered back to my several texts within seconds each time. It could not have been a nicer way to celebrate my son and his wife's 30th birthday! We sure hope to return soon.

Another Enjoyable Family Weekend

Lots of room

Our intent was to get away from the cities and spend Christmas with family instead on presents. And this place provided that and more. We had a decent size group and this place had plenty of room to spread out between the theater, sauna, game room, etc. We never felt cramped. The only complaint was the hot water. Not sure if something wasn't working as it should, since the owner pointed out the size of the water heater. There seemed to be a lack of hot water for dishes and showers. It definitely made everyone's showers swift. Overall, we had a great stay and would come back next Christmas.

Holiday weekend

Perfect for Thanksgiving weekend. Lots of things to do and enough space for smaller groups to hangout and visit while others played games or watched movies, spent time in the hot tub or watched the football games! Would definitely do it again!

Great multi family getaway

Clean, comfortable, and lots of space of our 3 families to come together and hangout. We enjoyed the massage chairs and game room, even though some of the games weren’t working. We are definitely thinking about renting the ATVs when we come back again. Very likely to return next summer!

So much to do right there!

We had an awesome family reunion! Loved being able to pick fresh blueberries, raspberries & service berries! Tons of firewood & great campfire pit! Very nice bedrooms and bathrooms! Fantastic open kitchen, dining & living room! When it rained, we could still play bean bags on the rap around porch. Grandsons loved the open loft with single beds, couch and TV! They were thrilled! Nice game room, hot tub, sauna & movie room. The massage chairs were a big hit! There was so much to do there, we barely left the property! Overall, it was great and the price was right! Thanks to the owners!

A bit of paradise

We were able to host a small gathering with extended family which turned out to be such an incredible location for the gathering. Many things for all ages to engage in, or just sit on the porch and watch others.
