"Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne. Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me. They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was. Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. "

Top Vojkovce Hotel Reviews

Boutique Hotel Carpe Diem

Boutique Hotel Carpe Diem

8/10 Good
"This is a pretty boutique hotel, and we had a very nice room and bathroom. We didn't have any hand soap or body wash for the shower--I am sure they just forgot-- but the room had nice amenities, such as a minibar, easy to use plugs, big towels, plenty of light, all in all it was clean and comfortable. There is an elevator inside, but this is simply not an accessible building--even with the elevator, there are places with steps, and up to the front entrance is a good set of stone stairs! There is off street parking at the hotel, but it is at a pretty serious incline, and it is NOT easy to get out of. Mostly one has to back out, down the hill. Helpful staff, a nice breakfast, decent location near a lot of places to eat. We had a very pleasant stay."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Vojkovce?
The best time to go to Vojkovce is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the region. You'll find comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking and sightseeing without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The countryside surrounding Vojkovce is particularly picturesque during these seasons, with blooming flora in spring and vibrant foliage in autumn.

You can enjoy strolls through nature or the city at a leisurely pace, and local restaurants often have better availability.

Families will also appreciate the mild weather for exploring. It's superb for visiting the nearby Slovak Paradise National Park, which offers accessible hiking trails and stunning natural beauty.
