I can see that this would be a very beautiful and professional wedding reception venue- the grounds were stunning. So much history, and the hosts were doing a great job in renovations. We will definitely come back every year. Quiet, peaceful grounds and historical bedrooms in the manor house. The toilet did not work, the shower was not clean, one of the bed side lights did not work unless you shook it a little, the electrical outlet in the bathroom did not work, the floors were vacuumed but not clean, and the room was very noisy due to a window/skylight that was in poor condition. We notified the front desk and we were told we would be moved into a good room when we returned from our day's activities. However, when we returned the hotel personnel were unaware of our situation, but they did move us, although into a small room on the street side even though most of the rooms in the 11 room inn were unoccupied. The price is good, but the overall experience was below my expectations given the reviews we had read. We will not likely return to this inn."
