### Visit this rustic cabin snuggled deep in the heart of the Shawnee Forest

This beautiful cabin is nestled in the woods, making it very private. It was built in 2023 and is a must see! The cabin features wooden floors that were recovered from a barn in Eldorado, IL that was built in the late 1800's. A disabled military veteran hand crafted the cabinets using wood from the very same barn. And you cannot miss all of the beautiful colors in the accent wall! The ceiling is covered with panels of tin that are stamped with "Granite City Steel." Can you spot a stamp? You have access to trails from your back door! A couple of popular destinations are Indian Kitchen, Jackson Hole, and Owl Bluff. We are located in close proximity to Bell Smith Springs, Jackson Falls, Garden of the Gods, Ponds Hollow, Lusk Creek Wilderness, Tunnel Hill State Park (popular for bike trails), Glen O Jones Lake, and the Ohio River. After your day of adventure head up to family friendly Shotgun Eddys for dinner and live entertainment that is featured on Saturdays.

We had an amazing stay! Very welcoming host made us feel right ant home. All the amenities were better than we expected. Extremely clean and organized cabin great internet service too.
