"Staff were lovely and could not have been more helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was nice. Room was ok but bathroom was in urgent need of upgrade and we had no hot water. Please upgrade the pillows and put pillow protectors on. Was a musty smell in the room and it was extremely dark, but I think this was just down to the age of the property. We loved Monseraz and would consider staying here again, albeit in a different room type. "

"It was right off the main entrance to the town across from the aqueduct-no need to drive up the narrow fortress roads into Elvas city center! Room was sufficient to my needs and lots of tv channels in several languages available.
