This was mine and my wife’s second stay at the stunning Hotel Raito on the Amalfi coast. Just a 45min taxi from Naples and couldn’t be situated in a more breathtaking part of the coastline. The hotel and its staff are 5* all the way, so attentive and caring with nothing too much trouble, Giovani at the pool bar, Carmelo and Kate at the lobby and Ido the waiter all made our stay so special. The rooms and views within are simply stunning. Superb food choices at the hotel restaurants and the handy free shuttle bus from the hotel into the local village of Vietri is another must with lots of choices of shops bars and restaurants as well as the beach.

Hotel Raito was truly a hidden gem! The hotel itself was lovely, rooms very comfortable, the food was outstanding and the views were amazing. The staff were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. This level of service and hospitality extended throughout the entire stay. Kate, Giuseppe, Maximilian, Stefano, and Walter were incredibly attentive making our visit unforgettable. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vietri! The hotel was simply delightful. The staff could not have done more to help at every occasion, breakfast, pool bar, dinner, reception and cleaners. The setting is simply stunning & although we went in may - so maybe early on in the season - it felt very calm & peaceful. It’s not often we both agree we’d go back somewhere - but we would absolutely come back to Hotel Raito. Thank you!

We booked a little late into the season so selection of room for our 6 days wasn't great. We had a balcony and beautiful sea view last year. This year we had to make do with a smaller room - rear view and an unusable balcony (too tight to get into and not a great view onto rear of property). Other than that the hotel is really great. It's situated high up and has amazing views onto Vietri town and beach. It is exceptionally clean and well maintained. We looked forward to a phenomenal breakfast buffet selection every morning - better than many five star hotels. The pool and swim up bar area is exceptional - we spent a good part of our stay in this area on the sun loungers and umbrellas - drinks and good choices were great. The staff are phenomenal - friendly and helpful. They helped us to book a day trip to Capri which we would recommend - earliest ferry out of Vietri Harbour (less than 10 mins taxi ride from hotel) and last ferry back. They also recommended an evening in Ravello last year which we returned to again this year - going a little earlier to spend a little more time there - well worth the drive. Excellent vacation. Thoroughly recommended.

This really isn’t a 4 star. One of the 2 restaurants was closed. The spa wasn’t open. It opens at 4pm on a Friday. Rooms are not the same as what’s shown in images. Restaurant service was terrible. The hotel takes Amex, but the restaurant does not. Felt kinda shady in that regard. This feels like a business hotel masquerading as a resort style hotel. The staff at the desk was very nice. Manager did not come out of his office to deal with our issues. We were unhappy and left after only being at the hotel 2 hours. We wanted amenities and this hotel fell short.
