We loved everything about our stay and only wish that we could have stayed longer! Our host was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. She shared great insight and history about the property and about the surrounding area. We got great suggestions about highlights for our visit. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a unique decor. Breakfast was perfect with options for sitting inside or outside. We were so looking forward to our 1 night stay judging from previous 5 star comments...the grounds are certainly pretty although there is a busy main road that runs behind the garden wall which dampens the country charm. The rooms and linens were spotless, but the bathroom left to be desired notably the wash basin...ughh black mold scum stuck hard to the corners (see photo) that was impossible to remove (this was not new as there was a mold remover spray in the cupboard)...simply time to change basin. Continetal breakfast was fine but served at coffee table level (a bit low).
