  • Relax in this hotel style hideaway, while enjoying a view of the mountains you'll visit later! The room is laid out so that guests can relax on the bed or in one of the chair while still having plenty of personal space. The raised table is great for a couple's breakfast together or for catching up on emails from your laptop. Enjoy a cup of coffee any time from the kitchenette, then store leftovers or take-out from local restaurants in the minifridge. As part of your stay, you will have access to shared amenities such as the shared heated outdoor pool and three hot tubs.

    Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. Freedom Service Dogs @ Lion Square Lodge

My co-worker and I were hosting a booth at the GoPro games this year. The room we stayed in was clean and cozy. During our stay at the lodge all staff was kind and accommodating to us while with our Service Dogs in Training.

Terrific location for Vail ski getaway

Can't get closer to the lifts - the gondola entrance is literally steps away from the exit of the unit and where the Ski Valet service has the skis ready for pickup. One lift access to the famous back bowl region (Game Creek Bowl). Unit was clear and very well maintained with excellent hot tubs and close access to Lionhead base village food options. Highly recommend this unit.

Good Stay!

Overall very nice stay! Very clean- loved the flavored water and fruit in the lobby. Few things why it's not 5- it's a parking lot view, not really a village view. The unit feels smaller than it appears-it's really a hotel room with a fridge and microwave, and finally- the staff was nice, but not entirely as knowledgeable as other vacation rentals where we've stayed.

Great place to stay!

Loved the place! Very convenient to lionshead village shops/restaurants. Unit was clean and we loved that the room was cleaned daily and there was 24/7 front desk if you needed extra towels, etc. They have a shuttle that will take you to vail village and our driver Justin was very nice. The ski concierge would hold your skis/poles overnight and was literally at the base of the mountain. Best ski in/out I have ever stayed in! Would highly recommend!

Vail trip Feb 19-22 2024

On property parking was great. Check in was fast. Room was as described, very much like a hotel room. Temperature on the 4th floor is warm so adjust the temp accordingly when you get there and turn on the ceiling fan. The lighting fixture above the table is coming loose and low so watch your head when sitting there. The 2 best features of this room are 1) you are right next to the Eagle Bahn gondola, literally. You pick up your skis the day before, the hotel stores them for you and have them ready for pickup in the morning on the way to the gondola. Same with when done, they store skis. 2) There are 2 outdoor hot tubs for a great soak after a day of skiing.

Terribly Disappointed

It is important to note, that the room was nicely decorated and well appointed. However, it was not clean. Bugs on the window-sill (and one bed), hairs on the bed and in the bathroom. I certainly do not blame the owner for this, but someone needs to pay better attention to caring for this unit between visits. I have stayed at Vacasa properties before and this experience did not meet what I know are their high standards.

Ultra Convenient

We enjoyed our stay at this ultra convenient location. Property is ski in/out and is located right next to the gondola. The complex has two hot tubs and a heated pool. Rooms were clean and the setup was much like a hotel room. Staff was friendly. It is also easy to get to local shops, restaurants, and equipment rental, as they are all within a short walk. We would love to come back again.
