The location is perfect near the middle of Ubud close to monkey forest but not in the center where the traffic and congestion is the worst. You can walk to anywhere from here though. The staff were extremely apologetic and offered us a room for the night which they weren't allowed to sell but was better than is having nowhere. We used the wifi to find somewhere else to stay. We also came back the next day for a full refund. Staff were great. Pool was a lot smaller than pictures make it seem. The positives - the pool was lovely. The breakfast was simple but efficient. The negatives - the staff were not attentive. We arrived in the afternoon to check in and the man who served us did not mention anything about breakfast, hotel facilities, wifi , towels , etc. he didn’t even ask who we were or where from simply asked for a passport and that was it. When we arrived in the room we had no towels or toilet paper provided. There was also no soap or a hand towel in the sink. We had to ask for towels and provide our own soap. We also had to ask about wifi as no one explained anything. The wifi was very poor and weak. Although the hotel says it has wifi do not rely on this. We had to go across the road to the restaurant nearby every day to get some sort of wifi. The bed was the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever laid on and it was broken in many spots and noisy to the point you did not want to move on it in fear it would break. The walls are thin. Although on the top 3rd level we could hear everyThing happening in the whole building as well as in the pool area and breakfast area. There was also no cleaning service provided the entire stay and we had to keep requesting toilet paper when we ran out. The only thing that saves this hotel is the good central location. It is budget so don’t expect much.
