It’s walking distance into the centre but with plenty of little cafe and restaurant options close by. The staff are most friendly and the location, at the end of the ridge walk and away from busy Ubud is excellent. Nevertheless there are some issues: - The menu has very limited Indonesian offerings and none, sometimes one, for breakfast. Indonesian cuisine is very rich and has a lot to offer and I was a little disappointed that even basic breakfast dishes such as nasi goreng, bubur ayam and others were not offered for breakfast. While there are some dishes for lunch and dinner, choice is limited and the twice a week BBQ did not offer anything indonesian. - much of the gym equipment is not working or of poor quality. - the mattress was a little sagged.
