The pool was great and the food was excellent, breakfast, lunch and dinner were all very well done. The only caveat to that was the Tomatini restaurant which to our surprise was a little disappointing. This part of the island flies under the radar and is an absolute gem."

Top Tymbaki Hotel Reviews

Hotel Kissandros

Hotel Kissandros

8/10 Good
"The lady in charge couldn’t do enough for us and she put on a decent enough breakfast each morning. Her qualities stemmed from her good nature and willingness to assist us in every way. Her lack of English language skills meant she lacked the werewithall to help on other issues such as a lack of certain bathroom equipment such as a plug for the sink. Such small inconveniences didn’t bother us but it may do others. The lady’s son attended regularly and he could speak English more than adequately. The room was always clean and everyone down at breakfast seemed to be perfectly happy with the place."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Tymbaki?
The best time to visit Tymbaki is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and October.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures great for exploring the local area and enjoying the beaches without the intense heat and larger crowds of mid-summer. You'll find the sea warm enough for swimming and plenty of sunshine. This period is ideal for couples seeking a relaxing getaway and families who prefer a more tranquil holiday experience.

July and August are the peak summer months, bringing very hot weather and larger numbers of visitors, especially to the popular beaches and attractions. While lively, it can be quite busy and prices for accommodation and flights are typically at their highest. This time suits those who enjoy a bustling atmosphere and don't mind the heat.

For those looking for a quieter, more budget-friendly trip, the off-season from November to April offers cooler temperatures and fewer tourists. Many tourist-oriented businesses might be closed, but you'll experience a more authentic side of Tymbaki and the surrounding villages.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Tymbaki.
How much is the nightly rate at a Tymbaki hotel?
Prices for hotels in Tymbaki often vary, but you can find a great deal from CA $56 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
