Toes in the Sand | Pet Friendly, Cottage!

Toes in the Sand is an affordable, pet-friendly, family vacation cottage. This home offers guests an excellent retreat for a family beach vacation or weekend get-a-way on Tybee Island. This home's open floor plan provides guests a great room with a flat-screen TV and comfortable furnishings. There is a dining area with a table that seats 4. The kitchen is open to the living area and features a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave (but no dishwasher).

The first guest bedroom has 2 Queen Beds, the second bedroom has a King-size bed. The home sleeps up to 6 people. Both bedrooms have TVs. There is one full bath that both bedrooms share. Enjoy the outdoors with a spacious yard and fenced dog run, and a deck which has a gas grill - perfect for cookouts. Please note that the yard is only partially fenced yard with an enclosed dog run. Dog must be leashed in all areas but dog run.

This cozy Tybee mid-island home is located just a short 3.5 block walk to the beach on Tybee's mid-island. Kids will love being close to Tybee's Memorial Park which offers tennis, basketball, volleyball courts and an island-themed playground.

Includes complimentary WIFI for guest use. Parking for up to 3 vehicles.

MINIMUM NIGHT REQUIREMENTS: Minimum night requirements vary by property, dates of stay, and usually become more lenient for last-minute bookings.

PETS: This home is pet-friendly for up to two (2) adult dogs with approval and additional pet fees. Cats are not allowed in any TVR property. Please Note: Tybee City ordinance does not allow dogs on any Tybee Island beaches

EXTENDED STAY RENTALS (26+ NIGHTS): All stays require a refundable security deposit to be paid, the amount is included in your online quote. A monthly electrical allowance is assigned according to the bedroom size of the property and has been chosen as this amount should not be exceeded with reasonable usage at the property. Worth every penny!

This house was in a central location only a few blocks from the beach and restaurants. The home was very clean upon arrival & just as pictured! They have a pet area downstairs which was convenient in those early morning and late nights. The property manager called to check on us during our stay. We had the best time at toes in the sand and can’t wait to return!

First Time on Tybee

We absolutely enjoyed out stay at this property. Our dogs go everywhere with us and finding this perfect pet friendly property made our trip even more special. The dog run was great! We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings and in the evenings. It felt as if we were sitting up in a tree house! The house was perfect for our stay. It was a great location just a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay.

No dishwasher, have to pre wash everything, unable to heat sanitize without a dishwasher Shower turn on is unbelievable. You have to wedge your fingers under the mechanism and pull hard forward for it to work Left door blind to deck was broken

This property is not very well stocked. It shows a fireplace in the photos and although that is not listed as an amenity when it is in the photo you expect that to be a functioning item which was very disappointing. The reclining sofa did not close properly on the left-hand side and there’s no dishwasher which was not listed but it’s expected for this price point. Also the listing says $20 for the pet fee when actually it is $20 per night per pet which is also very misleading

Great beach trip!

This was our first time at Tybee and we had a great time. We loved Toes in the Sand! It is everything you need for your beach trip. Close to the beach and on the quieter side of Tybee. We would love to come again.

Great Escape

This place felt like home away from home! Incredibly clean cottage, short walk to the beach, quiet street, it was great. Excellent spot for an easy family bike ride to the lighthouse or the sunset!

Very convenient location, we really enjoyed the shaded deck. There are two swings under the deck that were a big hit for my neice! We slept 5 people very comfortably. Only suggestion would be to be make sure you don’t spray any water on concrete because when it’s wet it gets very slippery. Loved the decor and enjoyed reading about the owners. Great place to stay with or without your pets. We really appreciated the fenced section for our pup! Would definitely recommend!

Perfectly clean and organized when we arrived... Everything exactly as advertised. Located in a friendly, quiet neighborhood... A short walk to most everything. Toes In The Sand was outstanding! We’d absolutely stay again without any hesitation.

Great house not far from the beach!

My boyfriend, me and another family of 4 stayed here over the weekend and it was perfect! Cozy but not too much wasted space! The shower was definitely a challenge so if they haven't replaced that when you come, pull. Just pull hard. It wont break it unless you're the hulk or something. Other than that it was a very clean house with an amazing deck to enjoy as well! Will definitely be back here!!

It was just ok

There was a lot of things they could of done to make the house better. The carport was full of debris and sand. There was hair in the bathroom including pubics on the toilet rim. Also the shower did not work. We couldn’t turn the water on easily. Both the sink and bathtub were stopped up and the only bathroom. Great pet friendly house within 2 blocks to beach and Resturant’s

Great place. We had 3 kids and a dog. 14,12,10 and 100lb goldendoodle. We live at the jersey shore and this place is great. Shower needs to be raised and drain needs to drain faster. We would return. Go to Geralds for bbq and Huck-a-poos for inexpensive food (nachos are banging)and craft beer.

Charming place, huge deck on top level amidst palms and oak trees, easy walk to the beach.

Overall a top-notch place near the beach with charming, cottage style decor, large bedrooms, huge deck, comfortable sofa and our dog was welcome. The house could use more lighting over the dining table and reading lamps near the sofa, some kind of speaker system, some games or puzzles, a cart for hauling stuff to the beach and a couple beach chairs. Also 10am is too early for checkout, IMHO.

Great Location!
