Welcome to your home away from home. You will be "Just Getting Tanner" in this beachfront home overlooking Tybee's North Beach with beautiful, natural dunes. This vacation home is the perfect place to celebrate the beauty and tranquility of Tybee Island in a perfect, family-friendly location. The welcoming double stairway leads to the glass door entryway. Guests will immediately feel a sense of relaxation as they walk through the front door and are drawn to the view of the Savannah River. Watch ships pass by the home from the comfortably decorated living room. The main living room has a large flat-screen TV and a decorative fireplace. There is ample seating between the living room and the bonus den area located off of the kitchen which also includes a flat-screen TV. The kitchen is beautifully equipped with everything you will need to make your vacation meals come to life. This fantastic open space with a combined den, kitchen, and dining area will certainly be the hub of activity while entertaining. There is a breakfast bar with counter seating for 4, as well as a dining table that seats 6-8 people and overlooks the beach. Just past the dining area is access to the outdoor covered balcony. Take shelter from the weather and still enjoy the serenity of the bay just below. The balcony is a private space, accessible only from inside the home, and also includes a gas grill for cookouts, table seating for 4, as well as lounge seating. The main level also includes a guest bedroom and a second primary bedroom. The second primary bedroom has a King size bed, a view of the beach, and an attached full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom is furnished with a King size bed. There is also a full bathroom in the hallway and a separate large laundry room for guest use on this level. The primary suite is located on the top level of the home. At the top of the stairs is access to the upstairs balcony with seating for two and a gorgeous view overlooking the bay. The spacious bedroom has a King size four-poster bed, and a flat-screen TV, as well as an attached full bathroom. The large ensuite bathroom has been beautifully updated and features a double vanity and walk-in shower. Accessible through the primary bedroom is an additional small study that is furnished with a daybed with a trundle to accommodate up to 2 additional guests. The ground-level bedroom is large enough to sleep four guests and is a perfect space to relax and hang out. The detached downstairs bedroom is accessible through a door in the garage, which is conveniently located right next to the door to the stairs that lead to the main level. The large room has two Queen size beds and a small cafe table with seating for 4, perfect for playing hours of board games together. A portable air conditioning unit cools this room in the warmer months. It does not have heat for cooler months. (Heaters are not provided.) A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is available on this level but not attached to the bedroom. This bath is perfect for guests staying downstairs and showering after a day at the beach! Another great bonus to the home with the full-size second refrigerator in the garage. The beach access is shared with the other houses on the lane and is located right next door to the home, so you truly just step away. The wooden boardwalk leads over the dunes to the quiet beaches of the north end of Tybee. The beach area on the North end is a very natural, tranquil, and serene beach. This is where the Savannah River meets the Atlantic Ocean. A soft sand path will lead you to the beautiful white sand beach. Spend your days watching large ships travel up the channel, watch birds galore, and glimpse dolphins at play in their natural environment. This home offers in-home WIFI and parking for up to 5 vehicles. Located in the driveway is an open hot and cold outdoor shower as well, which is also perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. There is a Queen inflatable bed available for extra sleeping capacity upstairs. The back deck needs a bug zapper for the amount of flying insects it can be unusable. Overall I would not rent this house again I think its overpriced considering the age and repairs that need to be done as well as the fact there are so many rentals close it was somewhat noisey and it is listed as having a private boardwalk but actually everyone in the area uses it. ##### Janice H. Beautiful home just steps away from the beach. Super clean. Very private and quiet. We were there for Thanksgiving and it could not have been nicer. Kitchen had everything we needed when we didn’t feel like going out. But when we did, the restaurants on Tybee were a quick car ride away and were excellent. It is DIRECTLY on the beach. The boardwalk is in the yard and takes you straight onto the beach. From the boardwalk to the water was a very short walk as well, which was nice with 2 toddlers and a 65+ with mobility issues. The beach was not crowded at all either! And because there was not a lot of people traffic, we saw so much nature! Every morning we saw jellies, starfish, horseshoe crabs and more. It was amazing. The house was on the older side compared to neighboring homes, but it was cozy and we didn’t feel like we had to be more careful than normal. The multiple decks were amazing, and we would legit watch dolphins from the upstairs deck. They were so close! The downstairs was a blast for the kids - between the games and the “club house” as they put it, they felt like it was their own special place. Again, the house is older (I live in a 120 year old house so doesn’t bother me one bit), but just keep that in mind - creeky doors and floors, but the house was clean and spacious. The multiple livingroom areas, plenty of seating in the dining area (with amazing views) - it was all worth the price. Only thing that I have to complain about, I felt like check in was a bit late and check out was a bit early, but I know they have to clean the large house before next guests arrive. ##### Leslie M. The bottom floor was the perfect space for the four kids… Although it did get a little cold at night… There was no separate heating down there. (Extra blankets or a space heater would be great!) This house on North Beach was perfect! The house is exactly as described. It was perfect for our family in that we all had our spaces and private bathrooms. The view was amazing, and the home was clean and spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us all. We enjoyed the game tables downstairs and the comfortable gathering spaces upstairs. This home is perfect for any large group or family. 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The downstairs bedroom has 4 twin beds great for kids or teenagers. The kitchen and dining area overlooks the ocean. The family room has a wall of windows for the view. Enjoy sitting on the back porch....so relaxing! Two of the bedrooms have beautiful ocean views. Easy access to the boardwalk to the beach. Although the home is older it is clean and extremely comfortable. Our family made wonderful memories on this trip thanks to this beautiful oceanfront home. We look forward to returning next time! We rent homes several times a year for vacations and gatherings. This was truly an amazing vacation rental!! ##### APRIL S. Overall great time but unfortunately had issues with several lights and a safety concern with the stove not wanting to turn off thus delaying our planned daily outing. Cleaning needs to take care of ceiling fans as dust accumulation caused some irritation for my wife. Bathroom shower issues and broken window frames made it hard to open and close some windows.
