Tybee Island's Neptunes Nest is a tranquil haven on a quiet street located in the center of Tybee Island. This quaint beach house features a large outdoor patio with a private heated pool, spa and freestanding hot tub for guests to enjoy. Great outdoor furniture and an expansive patio area surround the pool and the nicely manicured courtyard. In addition, guests can enjoy their favorite sports, movies, and television shows on a 70-inch HDTV in the bonus entertainment area downstairs. With almost 2000 sq ft of living space, this home is a perfect place to call home. As is typical of many Tybee homes, the main living areas are on the second floor. The open-plan living area can be accessed from the covered front porch entryway. The comfortable living room has a 65" Smart TV. The open floor plan of this home is ideal for entertaining friends and family. The fully equipped kitchen comes with all stainless steel KitchenAid appliances, including a French door refrigerator, dual ovens, and a Kitchen Aid stand mixer - really everything you may need to prepare delicious meals. Just off the kitchen is a writing desk, perfect for remote work, and a full-size washer and dryer adjacent to the kitchen. The three bedrooms include a spacious primary bedroom with a walk-in closet, wall-50" Smart TV, and a large ensuite bathroom with a custom tiled walk-in shower. The remaining two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed, and bedroom 3 has a daybed with a pull-out trundle bed. Both rooms have 40" Smart TVs. Step outside the kitchen to find the back deck with stairs leading to the backyard sanctuary. Entertainment is elevated to a whole new level in the bonus living area on the ground floor. Catch all your favorite sports, movies, and TV on the 75 inch Smart TV in the Media Room. Enjoy alfresco dining without the hassle of unwelcome distractions. Neptune himself would be spotted relaxing by the pool or having a soak in the spa. Relax in the pool and fire up the grill for outdoor bbq. The carport is perfect for challenging your guests to a few games in any weather. Games include corn hole, ping-pong, and darts. Bring your bikes, or rent them while you are here; it is the best way to see all of Tybee Island. Bike or stroll to the nicest beach on Tybee, only four short blocks away! This great mid-island location is within a short walk to Memorial Park, which has a playground for kids, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, as well as the Tybee Library and YMCA. The house is nestled on a quiet street, away from neighborhood traffic. Parking is available for 4 cars in the driveway. Guests may choose the option of adding pool heat to their reservation for an additional $35.00 per day for the length of the reservation. (Not available in January and February). The pool had a lot of plant debris in it and needed to be cleaned, but my kids still used it. There wasn't an umbrella outside like advertised in the photos, which was a disappointment for our one child who requires shade. The pool and hot tub area here were fantastic—no complaints there! However, the interior of the home didn’t quite meet the expectations we had for the price.The second guest bedroom had a flickering light and a rattling fan that made it unusable (though there was a new fan in the closet, so hopefully that gets fixed). The third bedroom’s trundle bed was too squeaky to sleep on. Bedding was minimal, with just one pillow per person, and we were only provided one towel each for showers—more would have been appreciated at this price point.The main living room was comfortable and a great spot for family TV time. We didn’t use the downstairs entertainment room, as it was only accessible from the backyard, felt damp and musty (likely due to the season), and wasn’t very inviting. The kitchen was well-equipped and worked perfectly for our needs. The front covered deck was awesome for morning coffee, but the chairs and furniture could all use a good power washing.The home is in a neighborhood where dogs barked throughout the day, which was a bit disruptive. While this isn’t something the owners can control, it’s worth noting. On the plus side, the rental company was extremely responsive and helpful with any requests we had.Overall, we enjoyed our stay but expected more for the premium price. It was just missing some of those finishing touches that would have elevated the stay. ##### Dan D. I went with two girlfriends for a girls vaca. For the most part it was very nice, but if you plan to swim in the pool bring your own towels. They only provide two bath towels per person, no pool towels. Also, if you are there in cooler weather, be prepared to pay extra for the “pool and spa” to be heated. The house was mostly clean, but your feet get dirty walking on the floors and there were obvious rings from drink cups left on the table. Also, the entertainment room downstairs has an unpleasant odor. ##### Susan D. House was perfect for us and neighborhood was great! The only bad thing about this place is...the coffee machine, it's an old, traditional Mr. Coffee type machine. They have a mixer to bake, but do not have a Keurig single cup brewer? Not a huge deal, but would've been super convenient. Outside of that, this place was perfect for us!!! ##### Vince L. It was very comfortable inside and plenty of room. There were 4 of us, but could have easily slept more. Kitchen is nicely stocked with all the utensils, plates, pans, etc. Check in and check out were probably the easiest I've ever had with an airbnb. We used the pool quite a bit. Loved how it had built in seats. We also opted for having the pool heated since it was still a bit cold. Well worth it!! Overall we had a great weekend at this property, hope to come back and stay here many more times! ##### Eileen S. Lots of appliances and utensils in kitchen for easy cooking. Lots of room for a smaller family. Can walk to most attractions & restaurants on the island.
