STR22-5651 Day and Night Max Occupancy: 4 Parking: 2 in front of condo Good Neighbor Flyer: The Space: The condo community provides a rec center that will give you access to the pool, hot tub, tennis, video game arcade, BBQ sites, and a playground. The central living area includes a sofa, flat-screen TV, gas-burning stove, and dining table; it is separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar that has additional chairs for sharing a casual meal or a glass of wine. There is a master bedroom downstairs, with a timber-framed queen bed, a large closet, and lots of natural wood trim; there is also a sleeping area in the loft, which is accessible by ladder and looks out onto the living area. The loft sleeping area is accessed by a ladder and open to the living space below without any wall or railing. This area is not well suited for small children and any minors using this area should be supervised by an adult. Due to COVID 19, the HOA facilities may remain closed. Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts. Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 pets, with an additional Pet Fee of $35 per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing pets, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee. The info didn't come at 3 days, and we learned 24 hours before when we got the check in info that the check in time changed to 4pm. It as difficult to get past the chatbots to establish this. When we arrived check in was easy. The location was great, but the place was run down with threadbare towels, dirty kitchen (dried parsley on the kitchen wall, sticky built in cutting board, and bathroom vent caked with old dust. I didn't look in the other vents, but the place was dusty. We couldn't find the pool, but when we texted the host, they said it was a 20 minute drive away. Also, though the kitchen had dishes and pots and pans aplenty, there was no oil or any staples, be sure to bring every ingredient you need. ##### Sunshine P. We were disappointed that the TV had limited access (no cable; we received a note from the owners saying the cable was not working, and we were limited to three streaming apps). But that's the only thing it had going for it. - The whole place stank when we arrived. Took a bit of work to make it smell fine. - The pantry was practically empty. Not so much as essentials, had to immediately go to the store to get everything. There was a bottle of oil that was fresh perhaps 10 years ago. - We've stayed at places with lofts and ladders, but this ladder situation felt especially rickety and unsafe. - No place to store our skis. There were ski lockers, but they were locked and we were not allowed to use them. We were just 4, but the place allegedly sleeps 6\. I can't imagine how that corridor would look with 6 pairs of ski equipment in it. - Communication was less than stellar. Like checkin details sent 2pm on the day of checkin. Good luck if you're having cell issues that day. It’s the closest building on Ski View to the Big Springs gondola and right next to village run so a true ski in and ski out. There’s an easy path to walk down to the restaurants in the village. About the condo amenities: it’s an older, not renovated unit, so it’s what you’d expect - functional. All the appliances work. The dishwasher is loud. The shower water pressure is good. The kitchen pots and pans are pretty good (except the nonstick pan needs to be replaced IMO), but bring your own oil, salt, pepper etc if you plan to cook. The upstairs loft is quite spacious. It is a very tall ladder to get up there, so kids younger than 5 would need to be supervised climbing up and down. There were 3 sleds and 2 inner tubes - awesome for the kids to enjoy on the small slope right outside the condo. Things that would’ve made this rental even better: Because the washer/dryer is not inside the unit, it would be nice to have a laundry basket to use to take your clothes to the laundry room. Dressers in both rooms would be nice so we don’t have to live out of our bags if we’re there for more than a few days. ##### Susan K. We enjoyed the location the most. The major issues for us were on the listing here the property said we could have 2 vehicles, and one pass was provided. We had two cars for our party staying there. I reached out to the phone numbers and emails listed, but I was told multiple times the local property manager would be in touch, but never has any response from them whatsoever. I did follow up with more than one phone call attempt, but never got a response from the local management team. In addition to the no communication, the condo is in much need of a deep clean. There was thick layers of dust everywhere. With a fireplace that we couldn't get to work with what was provided and would have asked the property manages about, but couldn't due to lack of communication. We will probably stay at someone else's unit in this area that is not with Grand Welcome property management group in the future. ##### Amanda B. It's a bit rustic and some of you will need to climb a ladder to get in & out of bed. But well worth it as you are 85 steps from the door to the ski run to the gondola. However, check out the extra cost as they doubled our rate for a 4 night stay. Hard to understand the cost to clean a \~800sqft condo. ##### Steven J. Beautiful property at the best location by the Village at Northstar. You get all you could possibly need at a great value. The property is comfy, clean, quiet, and just a few steps from the Village. It has membership to the Northstar Property Owner's Association club with fantastic swimming pools, gym, kid's activities, etc. (a small, guest fee $ per person is customary). Management/owner communication was impeccable! We had a wonderful time during our stay and will definitely look to book this property again. ##### George P.
