"The staff was immensely kind and helpful and contributed to make our stay the best. Tom gave us some great tips for places to go. There is a selection of great vegetarian food and tasty drinks available at any time. We were greatful for being greeted by a smile when we ordered food slightly outside of normal hours. The area is peaceful with a great view on mountains. The hot pool was enjoyable. The bungalow was clean and cosy."

" We stayed at the Le Champ resort for 3 nights in the end of October and were absolutely enchanted by every aspect of this beautiful destination. As senior travelers first time in Vietnam, we naturally were concerned with many things: how are we going to reach this off the bitten track resort, how to get back to Hanoi without car and so on, as we were looking for comfort, tranquility, and authentic experiences—and Le Champ delivered! From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with warmth and professionalism trying to foresee every need we might have. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making us feel both pampered and at home. Their genuine smiles and readiness to assist added a personal touch that we truly appreciated. We must particularly mention and sincerely thank the office manager Mr. Henry Minh Thien, who took care of us as if we were his long-awaited relatives: he had arranged a bus to Hanoi for us right from the resort, explaining many small details about the surroundings. Our advice to anyone thinking about staying in this wonderful resort is to contact him directly as he speaks fluent English. The culinary experience was wonderful! Dining there was not just eating—it was a cultural journey. Adjacent to the resort is an impressive sports camp that adds a unique and impressive dimension to the stay. We left with desire to return. Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Tram Tau?
The best area to stay in Tram Tau is the town centre itself, particularly around the central market and the main roads leading into it.

This area is the heart of Tram Tau, offering the most convenience for visitors. You'll find the majority of guesthouses, local eateries, and shops concentrated here. The central market is a bustling hub where you can experience local life and find essential supplies. The main roads, like those connecting to Nghia Lo, are easy to navigate and provide direct access to the surrounding natural attractions.

For couples looking for a relaxing retreat with cultural insights, staying in the town centre is ideal. You're close enough to easily arrange visits to nearby hot springs for a soothing experience, or to explore the terraced rice fields that are a short drive away. The convenience of having dining options and local crafts within walking distance makes for a stress-free trip.

Solo travellers will also find the town centre an excellent base. Its central location makes it easy to connect with local guides for treks to waterfalls or ethnic minority villages.
When is the best time to go to Tram Tau?
The best time to visit Tram Tau for pleasant weather and clear skies is during the dry season, which runs from October to April.

During these months, you'll experience cooler temperatures and less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the region's natural beauty and engaging in outdoor activities. The dry season ensures comfortable conditions for trekking, visiting terraced rice fields, and enjoying the hot springs.

Couples looking for a peaceful and romantic getaway will find October to December particularly appealing. The landscape is still lush after the rainy season, and the air is crisp, superb for enjoying quiet moments amidst the stunning scenery. You can comfortably explore the villages and relax in the thermal baths without the intense heat or heavy downpours.

For avid trekkers and those interested in cultural experiences, February to April offers excellent conditions. The weather is consistently dry, and while it can be warmer than earlier in the dry season, it's still very comfortable for longer hikes.
